Lyon x Cheria - Harsh Love

CHERIA'S POC:

Lyon and I ended up fighting again today. When we were running an errand for our guild, we encountered that girl from Fairy Tail, Juvia. Grey was right beside her which somehow ticked Lyon off. Now what ticked me off was a whole other story! Just how oblivious can boys be! Lyon and Grey kept fighting with words instead of actions, so as to not draw attention to a scene. Then, they somehow forgot about using words and being civilized people and started wailing on each other. How I responded you ask? Somehow I ended up joining their fight over Juvia. Yeah, that's right, for JUVIA! We caused so much damage that the leader of our guild, baba-sama spun herself for three hours straight. She then began to lecture me for not stopping Lyon and spun me. So, here I am now still wondering how long we're going to be spun by our guild master for causing a scene and not completing the errand we were assigned. *Sigh*

When Baba-sama finally stopped spinning me, I felt like I was gonna hurl. As I walked to the bathroom, I was stopped by a teary faced Lyon. He looked at me and I could tell that he was feeling guilty about involving me in his fight. Before he said anything, I asked him,

"Will you give me a hug? If you do, I'm sure I'll feel better!" This is what I said with a smile crossing over my face. Lyon only sees me as a little sister so it shouldn't be a problem for him to hug me. He hugged me with all of his might. Suddenly, an overwhelming urge overcame me.

"I need to barf." These four words were all it took to send Lyon away with a discouraged face. He mumbled lowly,

"Hmp! Feel better my ass! Geez, at this rate I'll be going back to square one in no time." I tried to explain that I still felt sick from being spun around for hours but, I didn't get a chance to. It was already dark outside so I decided to take a midnight stroll on my way home from the guild. To think that she was spinning me for so long... As I was on my stroll, I could tell that someone was following me. Lately, whenever I went out I would be followed but, when I turn around no one's there. I haven't exactly talked to anyone about this because they've all been busy lately. If I told Lyon, I somehow doubt the fact that he would respond the way I've always wanted him to. The steps I heard behind me began to move closer and for some reason...I feel really creeped out right now. I dashed forward with all of my energy without looking back but, a hand grabbed my head out if nowhere. I screamed,

"Please don't hurt me! I'm just a child, you wouldn't dare hurt a child right!" That same hand covered my mouth and held me close as three other shadows passed by. I tried to look up using the moonlight to detect my stalkers' face and...it was just Grey! Anger suddenly burst throughout my body and I could feel a vein begin to pop out of my forehead. Right when I was about to speak, Grey interrupted me and said,

"Sorry, I couldn't think of any other way to talk to you privately and without others knowing so I had to follow you. I just wanted to give you a little advice......Love never starts without someone taking the first step. Looks like your gonna have to be the one to make the first step though." I blushed after Grey said all that but, was my love for Lyon really all that obvious? I'm occasionally naturally dense. Even so, it wasn't to the point where I needed advice from others yet. I replied looking at Grey straight in the eyes even if I hadn't stopped blushing completely and said quietly,

"I'll be fine, I don't intend to make a move until the person I love does. Even if it hurts." Grey replied with a smug grin,

"You're really strong aren't you!" Grey gave me a small hug that warmed my heart a bit. The only one who can warm my whole heart is Lyon though. I could feel tears about to break out through my eyes at the very thought of Lyon staying dense for the rest of his life. I knew that this couldn't last forever. What I didn't know, is that three more people were restlessly watching us that night.
