Chapter 1 (Rewritten)

Notes:

Hybrids have both human and animal ears, to make things simpler with earphones etc I decided that they'd be able to hear through their human ears just so it makes a bit more sense :) Their animal ears are more just there to be there less to function.

It was another day in Seoul, the sun was just rising but the apartment was already full of shouting and screaming of 3 men fighting. Well, it was more of a play fight than anything, however it still included screaming at 6 in the morning. The men's neighbours defiantly wouldn't appreciate this however there was no stopping them. Two of them, a cat and a fox hybrid were fighting over a toy while another was trying to stop them from wrecking the whole apartment. Sometimes he contemplated every decision he made that led him to this point, but he was here now so there wasn't much to do about it. The cat hybrid jumped across the couch landing on top of the fox hybrid, sticking his tongue out and grabbing the toy before running away into his room. The fox hybrid stared in shock before sighing. The cat had won this one.

The oldest among the three looked down at the hybrid smiling, "You tired Jisung." The hybrid had rolled his eyes to this looking away, before pushing himself up to stand up.

"You really weren't much help, you know that right Minho?" The man looked back at him, rolling his eyes playfully. Minho responded to this by simply laughing to himself before walking over to Jisung and ruffling his hair.

"Don't be so salty, you'll get him next time," Minho laughed, "Now what do you want for breakfast?"

The younger's eyes lit up immediately responding with chicken. He didn't say it necessarily loudly, however you could hear the door to the cat's room open immediately and see his head poke out the door at the sound of chicken. Minho giggled at the reaction before nodding, he decided to order some spicy chicken instead of making it himself as he really wasn't feeling it.

It took a while for the food to get to their apartment but once it got here the men immediately dug in, almost finishing it within seconds making Minho wish he ordered more. Soon enough there was only one more piece left, the cat grabbed it quickly, stealing it from Jisung. The fox stared at him, angry yet playful, before reaching forward towards the chicken, ready to snatch it from the cat. Minho sighed, knowing what was going to happen, this time he decided to step back and let it happen, not having the energy to deal with the younger men fighting for the last piece. So once again, a chase broke out in the house, the chicken being constantly snatched from one hand to another. Minho just stared and watched it happen, concluding it would be too stupid to involve himself now. That was until he saw the cat hybrid running towards him, about to pass between his legs and the table, at that Minho put his leg up last minute making the cat trip. At that, the fox hybrid quickly jumped grabbing the chicken and smirking.

"Got you this time Felix!" Jisung yelled, this time he was the one sticking his tongue out. Minho clapped his hands not long after, suggesting it was better that they clean up, it was only 8am and they had already made the apartment seem like a tornado had passed through it. So the men got to it, each one doing their own thing. Jisung was picking up the trash, Minho was vacuuming, and Felix was left to wipe the dust off anything. After they were done each one left to their own room, with the exception of Minho who left to work.

Felix walked into his room and giggled to himself, it was so early yet the day was already good. Normally he wasn't a morning type of person, so he'd easily sleep in until 2 or 3pm but today was different with him waking up at 6am along with his roommates. He sat on his bed, scrolling through tiktok, laughing at random videos that showed up on his for you page. The hybrid eventually came to the conclusion that it was too early for him to be awake, and decided to nap, well more like go back to sleep completely instead of napping.

A/N:

Felix's backstory will be eventually explained again, this time a lot more clearly with better explanation. For now, until I rewrite all of this, it'll stay unmentioned for the most part :)
