The day was going just like every other day was going. No different whatsoever. John Lin was just your average Chicago lawyer, but unlike the other lawyers in his area, he didn't make any of the big cases. He had a reputation of stuttering in court and a reputation of, something even worse, never getting what his client wanted. He lost almost every case he received whether it be a simple divorce or suing a big cooperation. Right now he was in the middle of a clear cut divorce, and the judge was inquiring what the reason for the divorce was of Mr. and Mrs. Baker. Lin wasn't paying any attention at all, so when the judge called him to the stand to hand him the divorce papers, he didn't respond for a short while. When he finally did respond he was the center of attention, seeing as though everyone in the room was staring at him strange like. Lin groaned softly to him, "another day of misery continues."
