Ring.
Groaning, I slam my hand on my alarm clock. I stretch my arms and legs, and throw my comfy purple blankets off myself. I stand up and just sit on the edge of my bed trying to mentally prepare myself for my first day of junior year. Of course, though, my brothers decide that it should be fun to join a new school in the middle of the year. I think otherwise. I glance at the clock, which reads 6:10. Mumbling incoherent words, I walk into my bathroom to take a much needed shower.
Hey everyone! My name is Lily Anderson and I am 17. I have dark blonde, almost brown hair which reaches my hips. I have green eyes and tan skin. I'm about 4'11. I know, ha ha I'm really short. Anyway, I'm a ballet dancer and I have a light outline of a 6 pack. And even though my legs are super short, they're super muscular (A/N: Picture on the side). I have 3 older brothers, Dylan, Hunter, and Justin; Dylan and Justin are twins and they're 18. Hunter is 21 and is our legal guardian. All three of the boys are about 6'0 and muscular enough to seem intimidating. Dylan, Justin and I are all starting school at Lincoln High School. Hunter is starting his first day of work as a mechanic at a car shop a few blocks away. All of my brothers are extremely overprotective; it's rather annoying. Alright now that I described myself, let's get back to what's happening.
So I peel off my Nike spandex and sports bra, which is my usual sleeping attire, and turn the shower on. Once I'm satisfied with the temperature, I hop in. I grab my loofah and pour a little of my cupcake scented body wash onto it, and I wash my body. I reach for my favorite shampoo and lather it into my hair. Once I'm done, I grab my pink towel and dry my body. I walk into my room and open my armourer, I reach for my undergarments, black leggings, and a PINK oversized, off-the-shoulder crewneck sweatshirt. I also grab my white hightop converse and a back tank top. Once I slip my clothes on, I walk over to my vanity and check the time; 6:30. I then shake my towel-dried hair and brush it out. I put it into a loose side braid and start my makeup. I dab on a bit of concealer, foundation, and powder onto my skin in that order. I then add eyeliner to my top and bottom waterline to enhance my eyes. Next, I add two coats of mascara. Finally, I put on a random nude-colored lipstick, then cover my lips with a thin layer of cherry chapstick. I put on my vanilla-scented deodorant and then my cupcake-scented perfume. I then walk downstairs to see the boys eating pancakes. You see, Justin is an awesome cook, and he's usually the one who makes us food.
"Hey Lil, I made chocolate chip pancakes. I also poured a glass of orange juice for you." Justin says, thrusting a plate with a stack of pancakes in my direction. I happily mumble a 'thank you', and dig into my food. While I'm eating the boys are making small talk about their plans for their first day. I hear Dylan and Justin talk about all the shags they'll get. Ew. Rolling my eyes, I put my empty plate into the sink. Hunter left for work just before I woke up, so it's just Dylan, Justin, and I.
"Alright, let's get going. It's 7:15, and we have to stop by the office for our schedules." Dylan says, grabbing the keys to his car and motions Justin and I to follow. I quickly grab my phone, house keys, school bag, and head out the door. I walk towards my brother's black Dodge Challenger, and hop in the back seat. Starting the engine, Justin pulls out of the driveway.
"Now, I want you to be careful, Lily. If you meet anyone who makes you uncomfortable, tell Dylan or me, we'll handle it. I want you to make some friends, if you can, and pay attention in class." Justin tells me. Ugh here we go again. Dylan just nods his head in agreement. I huff and mutter an ok.
"I met with the secretary last week and she said that one of us will have the same lunch period as you, so one of us will meet you at the cafeteria doors." Dylan says. I roll my eyes and say okay. Sighing, Justin turns on the radio to a random station, just as we pull up to Ridgewood High School. I see people turn to look at us, probably wondering who these new kids are. Justin pulls into a parking spot, and steps out. Dylan does the same. I take one deep breath and open the car door. Justin holds his hand out for me to grab as I step out. I sling my backpack on my shoulders and follow the boys into school, with Justin on my left and Dylan on my right. I try to ignore the stares and whispers as we follow the signs that say 'Main Office'. Once we find it, we file in, and walk up to the secretary.
"Hi, my name is Lily Anderson and these are my two brothers Dylan and Justin. We're new here, and we would like our schedules please." I tell the woman, whose name on the name tag is Mary. She nods and turns to a cabinet with files.
"I have set up for one of your fellow peers, Lily, to show you around. She has all the same classes as you. Her name is Sam." Mary tells me. I mutter a thank you, as she hands the three of us our schedules. We start to walk out of the office when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn to see a girl with bright blonde hair, tan skin, and glasses. Justin and Dylan also turn and tensely grab each of my hands.
"Hi! My name is Samantha and I'm here to show you around." She says to me. Dylan and Justin let go of my hands with a light sigh of relief.
"Hi, I'm Lily." I hold out my hand for her to shake, but next thing I know Sam pulls me into a hug. I gasp out of surprise, and she starts rambling about how we're gonna be BFFs, blah, blah blah...
"Samantha! Let the girl breathe!" Says Mary, who is now looking at this scene with amusement
"Sorry about that, I've just overly excited." I laugh and nod because she seems like a bee bubbly person."Well, since the bell hasn't rung yet, we should go to your locker first." Sam says. We all nod and walk through the office doors.
"Since we have all the same classes together, I can show you the ropes of this school, like who to definitely not to talk to, and who to be friends with. Of course you make the decision, I'm just going to warn you about some people here." I inwardly groan at the typical high school cliques I'll be bound to see before the day is over.
"There are tons of clubs and activities to get involved with around the school, and some of them really are a lot of fun." She says, as we approach my locker.
"And for the girls that you should watch out for, there's Livvy Davis, Maria Thomas, Angela Martin, and Charlotte King are the four most biggest sluts you'll ever meet. Livvy is Queen B, or at least she likes to think she is. Maria is her best friend, but she's dumb as shit. She'll follow around Livvy like a lost little puppy. Angela is the wannabe who fakes everything. Last but not least you have Charlotte. Honestly, I don't even know why Charlotte is apart of their group. She's one of the nicest people in the pac-- group." By the time Sam is finished, we make it to our first class, which is World History. I walk in the room first, and already see some people in the classroom, whose eyes all snap towards me and Sam. Some are wide-eyed, some have a bored expression, and some have looks of.. jealousy? What would they be jealous of?
"She looks like she's 12." I hear one girl snicker, as me and Sam sit in our seats.
"Dude she's hot." I roll my eyes at that.
"She looks like a total slut" Now that gets me mad. I try to ignore them, but a hand slaps down on my desk, making my head fly up to see a girl with long black hair and brown/green eyes stare at me. She looks as if I just killed her newborn puppy. She's wearing a pink dress which looks about 2 sizes too small for her chest, and the dress reaches mid thigh. She has on cheetah print ballet flats. I timidly make eye contact with the girl.
"Just because you're new here, doesn't mean you're hot shit. Know your place, new girl. I'm watching you." She says with venom in her voice. I just shake my head, and she turns around and she does this high-pitched laugh. I take a shaky sigh and turn to Sam, who's eyes are as wide as dish plates.
"I'm.. I'm just going to go to the bathroom. Um... I'll be back" i mumble as I practically sprint out of the classroom. Of course I don't even know where the bathroom is, but whatve-
Slam.
I'm about to fall flat on my butt, but a pair of extremely muscular arms grabs my waist. I make a small squeaking noise, and turn to face this person. And what I see, holy fudgesticks is easy on the eyes.
