Milo's P.O.V

It was much later now almost midnight. As I walk through the woods I notice the birds singing and a creek running in the distance but I also notice...a scent, one I'm not used to. I growl, the scent is faint but I follow it in hopes of finding who it belongs to. The thought of rogues makes me shake with rage. I ignore my wolf who is warning me of my actions and blast through the woods.

I search for for only a short time before the scent becomes strong. I'm shocked by the almost sweet smell and my nostrils start to burn with the scent of blood. I walk towards the smell and finally I see a shape on the ground. I walk close enough to the figure to see the blood around it. I also hear my wolf growl in the back of my head "mate".

My eyes fly open in shock. Not only is this my mate but my mate is unconscious on the ground bleeding to death. I walk closer to the figure but when I see it clearly I notice an important fact." a girl... " I'm so shocked by this fact that I fall to my knees. I looked to my wolf for answers 'what the hell?!' I fire at my wolf, Mikey,with confusion.

'I don't know, I was just as sure as you that our mate would be male.' My wolf sounds confused but hurt. I can't blame him though, I mean, my mate is practically dead on the ground.

I reach out and pick up the girl on the ground. She smells sweet, it's intoxicating. I walk in the direction of home in search of a doctor.

When I reach the camp all I can hear are gasps and whispers. 'pay no attention, attend to your work. " I growl quietly through the mind link. When I reach the pack hospital my personal doctor greets me. When she looked in my arms she gasps and runs for a stretcher immediately.

My wolf whimpers at the now cold body being taken away.

I sit for hours not wanting to leave my mate in an unknown place, she'd be terribly confused and even afraid.

Fallon's P.O.V

I woke up to a familiar beeping noise.I try opening my eyes but fail. Then I become afraid. Someone found me. Who found me? What if it was mom? I'm going to die when I get home.

I try opening my eyes again but this time I succeed. When I look around it's dark and clear that this isn't a hospital room. I begin to panic setting off the alarm on the monitors next to me. I hear rapid foot steps and even clattering. A man comes into the room running. I rip off the oxygen mask and crawl to the corner of the room. The man nears me and I start to whimper but as soon as he touched me I screamed at the top of my lungs. I obviously didn't have much oxygen in my lung because I passed out before the man even stood up.

Oliver's P.O.V

Her piercing scream made my ears ring. I was going to try to comfort her but she quickly fell unconscious again. I picked her up and set her on the bed and placing the mask on her face gently.

When I walked back down stairs I was surprised to see the alpha home from his pack meeting.

Milo's P.O.V

I heard her scream even this far away from my house. I ask the members around me to excuse me and within moments I was shifting into my wolf and sprinting towards home. When I get there I see Oliver walking down the stairs with a flustered look on his face. "What happened?" I look at him fiercely.

"The monitor alarm went off so I went to check on her but when I got to her she was in the corner of the room cowering. I reached out and tried to comfort her but she screamed..." He hesitated a moment before finishing " ...she's really weak alpha, she fell unconscious again. "

I sighed, I really was worried about her but she wasn't making things easy.
