I woke up to the vibration set off by my phone. I opened my eyes, and glanced over at it. 6:05 PM. I rolled my eyes when I realized lunch was in little under a half hour and I should probably get there early if I wanted something good to eat. I sat up and turned my alarm clock off on my phone and got out of bed. The 2 hour long nap I had was refreshing, and something I definitely needed. I was craving a cigarette, but decided to put it off until after dinner. I went to my suitcase to find my hairbrush, since my hair was a knotted mess. I went to the bathroom to fix it. The cabin was set up very nicely. It was one big room with a toilet and sink built on. The showers were located in their own little building only a few footsteps away from my cabin, but the thought of sharing showers with other people made me cringe. I was sure to shower with some kind of shoes on and not to touch anything while I was in there. Getting back to the layout of the cabin, a nicely sized cot was in the far right of the room, next to a huge window that looked into the woods. A sofa sat below the bed, with a wooden coffee table that I already personalized with my bong and a couple lighters. To the left was the bathroom, and a table with 2 chairs. I liked the cabin, honestly. It was cool because of the fan and I was sure to decorate it so it felt like a home. Once I was satisfied with my hair, I slipped on my combat boots and headed out into the camp in search of the cafeteria.

When I first walked out of my cabin, I saw campers of all ages headed in one direction and I decided to follow them, thinking this must be the way to the cafeteria. I joined in the mix and looked around me. I stuck out like a sore thumb. It was pathetic, really. I have never seen so many nerds with braces in my life. I was given glances and scoffs and dirty looks. I was surprised this was how the people acted, since they claimed they were followers of God. I figured they would be accepting, and not criticizing. Maybe this camp was beginning to become a bad choice. I decided I wasn't going to let this group of professional virgins ruin my summer, so I walked up to a tall blonde picking at her split ends. "Hi." I said, and smiled. She turned towards me, and looked at me for a moment. Her blank stare turned into a slight smile, and her cheeks flushed a light pink. "Hello." She said, quietly. I nodded, and looked down at the ground where we were walking. I wasn't good with conversation, so I was blank on what to say. "I'm Mary." She said after a minute or two. Mary. I smiled, and reached for her hand. "Bella."

We got lost in conversation, and soon she broke out of her shell and she was bubbly and giddy. We talked about what our favorite colors were, and how much we both liked fruit, especially raspberries. "Oh, those are my favorites!" She said, laughing and grabbed my hand. "Mine too!" I giggled, and reached for hers too. "I like the color of them." I said, thinking about the deep red. "Oh my gosh, me too!" She said, giggling. We stopped to look at each other, and busted out laughing. "Why are we talking about raspberries!?" She asked me, laughing loudly. I laughed along with her, my eyes turning blurry with tears from laughing so hard. "I don't know!" We laughed and laughed and laughed until we needed to catch our breath. Once we reached the lunchroom, I wiped my eyes. "That was a funny talk!" I told her, and nudged her arm. "It was!" We entered the lunch room, and the first thing I heard was "Mary! Over here!" Our heads turned to a group of girls who were waving their hands and patting the seat next to them. "Come sit!" Mary waved and smiled, and turned to me. "Come sit with us!" She said. I hesitated, and stood in my place. "Oh no, that's okay." I told her. "I, um, was just gonna catch up on a book I've been listening to on my phone." I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and held it up. That was a total lie. I've never read a book in my entire life. I once had to read 'The Diary Of Anne Frank' my sophomore year for a report, but I blew the nerdy kid in class and got him to do it for me. Mary shook her head slowly and frowned slightly. "Okay.." "I'll catch you later!" I told her, and got in line before she could say anything else.

The food was very unappetizing. The special of the day was sloppy joes and crinkle cut fries, but the sloppy joes were indeed sloppy, and the fries were soggy. I frowned in disappointment. I decided to pick up a bag of salt and vinegar chips and a Hershey's candy bar. When I looked over in the fruit, I saw raspberries. A smile grew on my face and I reached for a bowl of them. Once I picked up a bottle of water, I headed towards a deserted table in the back. Once I sat down, I checked my phone to see if there was wifi. When a single bar popped up, I mouthed a thank you and raised my hand in the sky. I logged onto Instagram to see the recent pictures, but stopped when I saw a shadow cross over the table. I looked up to see who it was, and my eyes widened slowly. Right before my eyes was the most gorgeous boy I have ever laid my eyes on. His dark green eyes stared into mine, his brows furrowed, studying me. His lips were pink like a rose, and his chocolate brown curly locks hung in his sunkissed face. When I opened my mouth to say God knows what, he said. "Hello there, my names Harry." In the most deepest raspiest British accent. Chills ran down my spine, and "B-Bella." was all I stammered out.
