With your smooth words and everlasting promises it left me reckless
Wondering why you rather watch me cry out for you from a distance
The distance that I thought was close but yet so far
I-I couldn't resist you-I wanted you even if it hurt like hell
The aching- aching of my heart caused me to shut you out
You-you was my sense of peace -a get away car
But we-we could no longer be
