IL to FL

12:45 a.m. -
It's 12 in the morning and I have to be up at 7 because my family & I are moving to Florida today. We are going to be flying there, I've never rode on a plane before. Moving trucks are going to drive our things to Florida. It's my senior year of high school, how could they make me move like this?

I'm currently living in Chicago, Illinois with my mom, dad & baby sister Kylie. My dad got a new job offer at some business in Miami, so we have no choice but to move.

I don't want to move, I have my best friend, Zoe, here. How am I suppose to tell her goodbye tomorrow? This is where I grew up, that's all getting taken away from me.

Great, now I'm all in my feels crying.

1:15 a.m. -
I finally calmed myself down from crying and get up from my bed to go to the bathroom.

That's when my mom pops around the corner. I guess she can't get any sleep either because of the move, "Ally, honey, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" she asks me.

I start to tear up alittle, "Mom, I'm really gonna miss living here. I'm gonna miss my best friend. This is our home, I was raised here."

"Ally, I know this is our home. I want to stay here as much as you do, trust me. Your dad has been given a really good job offer in Florida that he needs to take. He's not making a lot of money at the factory here in town. This will be better for us! I promise, everything will be okay." she says to me taking me into a hug.

"Mom, I love you, dad & Kylie so much." I say hugging her back.

"I love you too Al. Now try to get some sleep, you have to be up in a couple hours."

"Goodnight mom." I say to her as I'm walking back to my room.

2:00 a.m. -
I'm starting to feel tired.

I lay down in bed and look at all the boxes around my room. Everything is packed away. We are really moving today.
