(Lily POV)
It was a regular day, Petunia had called me a freak twice today and I've only just gotten down to breakfast, a new record yesterday it was five.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" Petunia screeched as a tawny brown owl came swooping in through the open window carrying my Hogwarts letter! " Petunia calm down sweetie" my mum tried attempting at soothing Petunia, but failed as Petunia was still making that awful racket. As I safely clasped my Hogwarts letter in my hand and the owl flew out Petunia finally stoped screeching. "I'm going to Vernie's house to plan our PERFECTLY NORMAL wedding with no freaks aloud !" Petunia announced loudly, Vernie (Vernon though in my option he should have been named Vermin)being Petunia's whale of a fiancé had either been coming here or Petunia going to his house to plan there extravagant wedding of the century.
"May I be excused" I asked politely, my mum just nodded her answer.
As I went up the stairs I found my Hogwarts letter was much heavier than usual, the anticipation was eating me inside. I jumped on my bed opening my Hogwarts letter gently, as I did a bright shiny head girl badge fell onto my bed!
