"So, any plans for tonight?" Destiny asked excited. This was the first real date she had with her girlfriend Rio, even before she moved back to Arizona.
"Follow me," Rio replied, racing out the back door of her house. Destiny followed close behind. Rio turned and climbed onto the porch railing, and pulled herself onto the roof. She outstretched her hand, and Destiny took it, Rio helping her onto the roof. The pair leaned back and rested against the cool, shingles, long ago having lost their pure black color. Rio began to sing, "I cannot hide what's on my mind I feel it burning deep inside. A passion crime to take what's mine let us start living for today." Destiny recognized the tune immediately. Rio started to sing louder. "Never gonna change my mind we can leave it all behind nothin's gonna stop us, no not this time." She sat up, and as she sang, she outstretched her hand "so take your hand in mine, it's ours tonight" Destiny took Rio's hand, and sang with her "this is a rebel love song." They stayed that way, and when the song finished, Rio pulled Destiny close, and held her as they gazed towards the mountains, watching the sunset.
