Flashback to before Darkseid found the Anti-Life Equation...

Leslie Willis, otherwise known as Livewire had escaped from custody in STAR Labs. But instead of wreaking havoc in Metropolis, Livewire decided to wreak havoc in Gotham City just for kicks. Supergirl heard word of the electric villainess's antics and fought her in Gotham as best she could. The thing with Livewire was, her electrical powers were capable of being a run for a Kryptonian's money. Livewire had the upper hand in this one-sided fight as Supergirl struggled to hold her own against her. The electrical shock was even damaging Kara's Supergirl suit. "Face it Blondie," taunted Livewire, "you ain't as powerful as Big Blue, and you don't stand a chance against moi!" She smirked evilly and strangled Supergirl, shocking her with her electrical powers. Supergirl screamed in pain. She was scared that she would die abruptly, before she could tell the man she had a crush on her true feelings. The man who made her heart aflutter, made her feel like she belonged here on this Earth, that helped her come to terms with being the last daughter of Krypton. Suddenly, a familiar voice yelled out, "Hey! Get away from her, you bitch!" Livewire turned around, and saw who insulted her. He was 5'11, had Caucasian skin, light brown hair, dark blue eyes, wore a Batman t-shirt, blue jeans, and red Converse sneakers. It was Kara's crush, Kevin Beaumont!

Supergirl wasn't sure whether to smile in relief, or glare at Kevin and call him a dumbass for facing one of the deadliest Metahumans out there

Supergirl wasn't sure whether to smile in relief, or glare at Kevin and call him a dumbass for facing one of the deadliest Metahumans out there. He had his father's bravery, that much she could tell. "Well hello handsome," said Livewire, "much as I like your reference to 80's movies, do you kiss your mommy with that mouth?" She saw he held a fancy gun. "Well if she met you, she'd give me a pass," replied Kevin, "now put Supergirl down!" He sounded determined, almost like he was Bruce. Livewire put the weakened Supergirl down, and raised her fists up and said, "Oh you wanna fight me little man? You're as dumb as you are handsome." Kevin smirked and said, "Not sure whether to be flattered or not... But looks can be deceiving." He raised his gun at her. Livewire laughed and said, "You really think you can kill me with that toy gun?"

"Well, you're not far off on the toy gun part Shinigami from Death Note," replied Kevin as he then pulled the trigger, and out came an immense amount of water, drenching Livewire. She was taken aback, yelling in pain. She growled and said, "You are so dead, Bat-Boy!" Kevin ran and called out, "You'll have to catch me first!" Livewire looked at Supergirl and said, "Now there's a boy that plays hard to get. He's cute. Too bad I gotta kill him." She then caught up to Kevin behind a fire hydrant. "Thought you could outrun me kiddo?" Livewire rhetorically asked. "I needed to work on my cardio," joked Kevin as he saw Supergirl sneaking up behind her. "You're a real funny guy, you know that?" said Livewire. "I got friends with a lot of humor," replied Kevin as he pulled the trigger again, but saw it was jammed. He growled in frustration. "You got a lot of guts," complimented Livewire, "let's see what they look like after I roast ya!" Before she could do anything, Supergirl used her heat vision to break open the fire hydrant, causing the water to burst everywhere, splashing all over Livewire. She screamed in pain until she was out like a lump. Supergirl then contained the water. Kevin and Kara sighed in relief, and Kevin said, "Good teamwork."

Much later, Kevin and Kara were in the living room of Wayne Manor. Kara was in her civilian clothes, and barefoot. She and Kevin were sitting on the couch, watching a rerun of Friends. "Sorry if Alfred has to fix my suit," said a mortified Kara, "I really liked those boots." Kevin chuckled and said, "It's okay Kara. It's not the first time Alfred's had to fix a superhero's suit, and it certainly won't be the last." Kara frowned and said, "I still can't believe you risked your neck to save me! But I am glad you did it. Thank you. How did you find me?"

"Babs told Dad and I that Livewire was in Gotham and that you were fighting her," said Kevin, "Dad estimated the fight would be one-sided, so I ran to where you were at to save you. I can still feel that adrenaline. Is that what it's like? Saving the day and all?" Kara chuckled and said, "Pretty much." She looked into his eyes, his blue eyes just like his father's. She thought they were dreamy. Kevin looked into her sky blue eyes. He sometimes couldn't believe heat vision could come out of them at will. But they were beautiful eyes to him. All of her was beautiful to him. His heart kept on beating fast, and he could feel the heat rising in his cheeks from red hot blushing. Kara could hear his bashful heartbeat, and she could feel the heat in her cheeks also rising as she also blushed. She brushed back a stroke of her blonde hair. The two unknowingly said together, "Kara/Kevin, there's something I... You go first... No, you... No, you!" The two laughed.

"Kara," began the blushing Kevin, "I wanted to let you know... Ever since I first met you, I've always had feelings for you, and I don't know if I can fight them anymore... I'm in love with you..." Kara looked at him with disbelief. Did her crush just admit he was in love with her? She breathed more intensely. She could fight Gorilla Grodd with ease. But admitting her feelings? That was going to be hard for her. "Kevin..." said a hesitant Kara, "I don't know what to say... You've been so kind to me... You've made me feel like I belong here on Earth, and you never gave up on me...And I've always had a crush on you too... I... I love you Kevin..." He then held her hand. She didn't hesitate as she smiled at him. "Can we be more than friends?" asked Kevin. "Are you sure? I'm a lot older than you... And what if I outlive you?" asked a scared Kara. "With love, age doesn't matter," said Kevin, "it is timeless, always..." Kara smiled, not caring if she and Kevin were to risk angering her cousin and his father. They both closed their eyes, and kissed each other on the lips. Kevin held her in his arms, and Kara gently hugged him, knowing her strength, wrapping her legs around him seductively. They wanted to live in this moment forever. What they didn't know was that Kevin's half brother Damian was watching. He smiled at his big brother, happy for him.
