I walked slowly step by step, for some reason I knew there was gonna be trouble once I stepped in there. I walked in to see security guards on Jake's side, what had Noah done this time. " what it's happening here?" I asked. Both Jake and Noah turned around. I could finally see both of their faces clearly, Jake's face had a big bruise close to his left eye and his nose was bleeding a bit. Noah's face was fine he only had some scratches on his forehead. " What the fuck did you do Noah?" I asked pissed.
" You know him?" Jake asked.
"He is a family friend", I said going up to Jake, " are you okay?". I was going to touch his face but Jake quickly stopped me and grabbed my arm. " please remove yourself and him from our building, we here in the marine center do not believe in violence".
"Jake, please"
" I am sorry Emily, he is trouble" he said letting my hand go.
" But i am not him", i said.
" No, but you are his. Please remove yourself before I have to tell my guys to do their jobs".
" i am.. what? What are you talking about?". Jake gives me a sad face and walks away. I do the same grabbing Noah by the arm and dragging him.
Once we were finally outside I let all my anger out, " WHAT THE HELL NOAH!".
" what the fuck did you do?" I asked.
" I was just trying to protect you", he said emotionless.
" by coming all the way to my job and beating up my boss? What the he'll were you thinking?"
" Look I know Jake, I met him im high school, he is not good news".
"Neither are you" i snap, " you had no damn right to do that Noah". Tears were sliding down my face.
"Look I did mean to hit him, i was just going to tell him to stay away, but things got out of control" he explains.
" I can't believe you! You Noah Flynn is pure trouble, I do not want anything to do with you!", i said walking away from Noah.
"Em, em!" I could hear Noah scream my name but I ignored him. It wasn't too long that I was walking when Noah catched up to me on his motorcycle . I complete ignored him again, making him finally decide to quit and drive away.

Once I finally got home Elle was waiting in my room for me. "Hey" she says smiling.

"what?" I asked knowing she was probably gonna ask me to do something.

"Can you pleaseee , do the booth?" she asks.

"oh no", I said sitting in my bed, my legs were so tired from all that walking.

"oh c'mon Em, you know the boys in school are like all over you, if you go we'll have at least like 30 boys for sure", she begged.

"nope", I crossed my arms.

"please", she begged more, "Noah is ..."

"I don't care about Noah! he could literally choke and die and I wouldn't care".

"what?" she asked confused.

"yep I said it, and I also hate when you talk about him, you know why, because your like all the other girls just drooling all over him". Elle walked out and slammed the door , I could see she was hurt. Noah Flynn had a way of running my life even without being present and I hated it that.

I had woke up that day with a message from Bethany, a new girl I met in my calculus class, which I had no idea how I got in. Calculus was actually advanced which means that there were seniors on that class, including Noah. I had decided to fake that I was sick and skip school yesterday, so Bethany just wanted to update me in everything that had happened. Well that was big news, Beth had sent me a text telling me all the homework but also adding in that Noah was as quite as a turtle, I didn't understood that simile but I just ignored it. I texted her back with a , idc, and she quickly respond it with "you don't ? really Em?". As I was about to answer the text Beth appeared right next to me.

"hello Ms. I don't care", she jokes.

"Really?" I asked chuckling at her little joke. Beth walked me to class and I watched her up on everything, including what Noah did in the rescue center. She was shocked. "Somebody was jelly" she said playfully. "what?" I asked confused. "Duh, he was totally jealous of Jake".

"No he wasn't , its Noah we are talking about."

"yeah right", she said sarcastically as she walks away, "see ya at lunch sucker". I waved bye and walked into class.

I had just gotten my lunch and went to sit on my usual table, Beth was still in the lunch line so I was sitting alone. Lee and Elle passed right by me but Elle was ignoring me since that night, I guess she really liked him. As I was lost on my thoughts I went into my own little world and totally missed when Noah took a sit in front of me. "What ?"I said realizing he was there.

"I came to apologize", he paused, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to harm you, I just wanted..."

" to protect me?" I finished his sentence. Although I was pissed at Noah right now, a part of me thought it was sweet of him to apologize and wanted to forgive him. "Noah, I..." I sighed, "you better pay me back in someway". I smiled to show him I wasn't mad, and that resulted in Noah smiling back. That smile, no, what was I thinking, nope, won't fall for it this time, but guess what, I did. So I just got lost on his smile, until Beth took a sit next to me.

"am I ruining something?" Beth asks wiggling her eyebrows.

"No", I snapped out of it, "Noah was just leaving". I turned to Noah who had gotten the memo. He stood up and winked, "See ya in class".

"Emily watched as Noah left wondering if she would ever see him again", Beth laughs narrating as Noah walked away.

"Oh shut up", I told her as crossed my arms. Beth laughs and opens her milk, "How long do you think this has being in their fridge?"

"About 3 years"

"Uhh, delicious" she said taking a sip from the milk.

"Ew!" I said almost throwing up, "you disgust me Bethany Wells". As we were talking Elle and Lee came up to me. "Okay so this is how its gonna go", Elle said in a demanding voice, "you participate on the kissing booth and I'll forget what you said to me the night before".

"You really need someone on the booth don't you?" I asked her.

"yes", she sighed, "Nobody wants to participate so please"

I rolled my eyes, I knew that Elle couldn't be mad at me for long, but I also felt bad for what I said to her, I knew she cared for him, so I did what a sister in my position would do. "Ok, I'm in!"

"wait what?", she asked surprised and confused.

"I'll do it", I repeat, "its the ONLY way you will forgive me right?" I winked at her. She gave me one of the biggest smiles ever, "thank you, thank you", she said hugging me a little too tight.

"Elle, too tight, bones cracking" I said dramatically. She quickly lets me go and walks away happily , "you'll see, you're gonna love it!"

"kissing strangers , yay!" I said sarcastically while giving her a big smile.

"thats what I am talking about", Beth joked.

"shut up", I rolled my eyes at her. "lets go, we can't be late to class".

"like you care", Beth said and then started to babble about all the gossips that had being going around.

It was the end of the day when I finally got home from tryouts. The swim coach had loved me and asked if I could show up on practice tomorrow. To me that was an awesome sign, I got so excited I was only able to fall asleep at 4 am, which gave me exactly three hours of sleep before school. Shit, I was gonna need a lot of makeup tomorrow morning.
