~PIC ON SIDE OF KEIRA~

"KEIRA HELPPPP!!!" I heard Travis yell. I then heard him scream in the most high-pitched voice ever. I seriously wanted to laugh at his voice, but something might be wrong. I grabbed my stygian iron sword with a shaking hand from the sheath attached to a belt around my waist, and ran outside of my cabin, scared that something was wrong. My cabin only had two beds. One was for me, and the other was for my half-brother Nico, who was also a child of Hades. My cabin had black walls lined with torches, white granite floors, and our king-sized grey beds. That was pretty much it, aside from the crap-load of pictures that Nico and I hung up. As a joke, we had a gumball dispenser full of pearls that could transport us to the Underworld. Anyways, as I ran outside to help Travis, I nearly died of laughter. He was being attacked by a bunch of pissed-off Aphrodite girls covered in glitter, and a few of them had... green hair? I know that Im usually a scaredy-cat, but I could handle those brats. I wonder what he did this time... I quickly shooed the girls away, and helped him up, still laughing.

"What did you do this time," I asked, giggling.

"Um, well you see Keke. Hypothetically, these really hot twins may have poured glitter in the Aphrodite cabin's blowdryers, and put hairdye in their shampoo... Hypothetically of course."

I simply rolled my eyes.

"Wait... where's Connor?" I asked, suddenly a little nervous.

"Umm, about that..." Travis started. Right at that moment, I saw Connor jump out of an Aphrodite cabin window with a grin on his face.

He began to countdown, "Three, two, andddd one."

When he said one, I heard like twenty earsplitting shrieks.

I quickly glared at Travis.

"Um, and Connor may have let a few rats loose in their main makeup cabinet as well," he admitted proudly.

I quickly ushered the boys into my cabin, and slammed the door shut. I slid the knife back into its sheath. It was charmed by my father, so to anybody else it would look like a plain belt.

"Im gonna miss your antics so much when Im protecting that boy band," I whispered with a small smile.

Okay, so my friend Daisy and I had to make sure that the One Direction boys, who are apparently demigods, stay safe until their tour is over. It would arise suspicion if they left half way through their tour, so Chiron told us to make sure they are protected from monsters. We are allowed to tell them that they are demigods, so that way they will be claimed by their godly parent. After they are claimed, they will be able to defend themselves, and Daisy and I can lay off on the protection order a little. Once the tour wraps up, we escort them back. If only it was that easy:(.

At the realization that I was leaving today, the boys sobered up and we all hugged. They were never serious around anyone else except for me. Even though they had a lot of other half-siblings in their cabin, it was different. We grew up together in the same beat-down apartment. We were all eachother had when my mother would go out and sleep with random men. We escaped and made it to Camp Halfblood...together. I would miss them so much when I was protecting One Direction.

"Hey, baby sis. We can iris message you! Also, maybe Nico could shadow-travel us to you sometime!" Connor cooed. I simply nodded, and continued to hug them.

"Ooh group hug!" My best friend Daisy squealed with fake enthusiasm, We were complete opposites. I was shy, she was outgoing. We were both brave, but while Daisy would openly threaten somebody, I would only fight if it meant helping my loved ones. She was extremely pretty with naturally wavy light-brown hair, tan skin, and bright hazel eyes, while I had pale skin, limp black hair, and dull blue-ish green eyes. She was my absolute best-friend. The biggest difference between us was that I always had a hint of optimism, which is really weird for someone who sees dead people on a weekly basis, and she was always pessimistic about EVERYthing.

"Yeah, yeah Daisy. Don't be jealous that you can't have any of this," Travis teased.

"Thank Ares for that. I would probably have to kill myslelf," Daisy muttered. At this, I giggled quietly. I saw a bright smile appear on Connor's face as I laughed. I would miss these boys so much.

"Promise to take me to a Brooklyn Cyclones game when we get back," I asked Connor as I stuck out my pinky for a pinky promise. The Cyclones were a minor league baseball team in Brooklyn that Connor and I adored.

Connor linked his pinky with mine.

"Pinky promise," he said back.

"Okay, let's go Keira," Daisy said softly. "Chiron has a matte black Volvo XC60 waiting for us. Pretty nice car."

I nodded, and grabbed my duffel bag, and my Cyclones drawstring bag. It held some extra Underworld pearls, some regular American money, some drachmas, a compass, a blow dart with a dart that returns after it hit its target(it just puts people and monsters to sleep for a few hours), my New York Jets snapback, and a whistle to call my pet hellhound Thanatos. I mean c'mon, pshh who doesn't have a pet from the Underworld named 'Death' in ancient greek...right? I grabbed my pearl choker and put it around my neck. If I ever needed to visit the Underworld while I was away, I could just touch the necklace and think about visiting my father. It took a lot less energy than shadow-travelling.

I hugged Annabeth, Percy, Grover, Piper, Jason, Leo, and my friend Jaycee from the Demeter cabin goodbye on the way to the car. They all wished us luck. A bunch of girls from the Apollo cabin came to hug me, and then they glared at Daisy. Let just say that Daisy paid Leo to light Will's arrows on fire after her and Will broke up. Yeah...

Daisy and I finally made it to the car, and I threw my duffel in the back befire getting into shotgun. Daisy was driving, so I was really tempted to sit in the backseat. I grabbed my Jets snapback and put it on to  shield my eyes from the sun.

Well anyways.. 1 hour till we get to New York, and 2 hours till showtime. Okay, I can do this
