Clichest Way Possible~
In a ballroom filled with many bustling people, flourishing buisness men and many elegant women dressed in very expensive attires. The place was a sight to behold.
Decorated with posh flowers that held to the poles; the venue was definitely for the right place. But however, for Funneh it seemed like she was the only one out of place.
She wore a dress that stuck to her waist so tight that she felt that it would suffocate her. Her hair was clipped with how many clips they could put, also curled at the ends to make it more presentable.
She was a beautiful maiden afterall. A "princess" they said. But she shrugged of praise; walking into the ballroom with a blank expression. Bowing gracefully to every princess and prince that she could see.
Reputation was a very vital thing to their family. Morality was always taught and such, turning the bluenette into a well mannered princess.
To make it more cliche, they even wore masks with hid their sole identity. Thy couldn't recognise eachother; which wasn't very pleasant.
But the event was planned for the princes and princesses around the kingdom to socialise with eachother. Afterall since technology had taken their world by storm it was possible for them to even isolate themselves from the palace to mope around and do nothing.
"What a pleasurable evening to meet you tonight." Someone greeted with a red hair; making him stand out from the rest. Funneh crinkled her nose in response, bowing to pay respect to the prince infront of her.
She adjusted her mask to stay put. "A pleasure to meet you too, dear prince." She greeted; ready to take a leave and to bolt out of the ballroom in annoyance; almost finding this event useless. "—Wait."
A husky voice stopped her. Making her turn around with a sigh parting through her lips. "Yes? May I ask what your problem may be?"
The redhead chuckled. "None at all—" He paused, "I actually wanted to ask if you would care to have a dance with me, I'm Alec by the way." The bluenette then nodded to accept. "Funneh, get it right or I'll kill you."
And that night changed it all. Their personalities complimented eachother well, making them like eachother very much. Along with the teasing and playful mocking, they had grown to develop a very stable friendship.
Always being there for eachother when one needed a shoulder to cry on. They were there for eachother and no one could ever change that.

"Y'know Funneh, I'm starting to—to you know, have feelings for you." Funneh laughed, trailing her eyes on her book still. Taking the confession that the prince had said lightly. "I'm finally your best friend?" She pretended to be excited.
Still paying no mind to the boy. "Hey! I'm telling you something very important woman! Listen to me." The bluenette placed her book by her bookshelf; then facing Alec.
"What now?" She asked. "I think I'm developing feelings for—" Alec was cut of by the naughty princess again. Catching him seriously off guard. "Kate? Really? I'm excited for you!"
Alec groaned, walking towards Funneh to hug her. Placing her head on his broad shoulders, he patted her head. "No, shut your mouth first so you can hear everything."
He then started with a, "I'm so aggravated at you. You are so obliviou, no matter how many clues I drop or give you still ignore me and pretend you don't know anything! Funneh, I don't feel like a normal person around you anymore, and it freaking sucks. You made me want to rip my head off, strangle myself or just throw my heart off the building."
Funneh quirked an eyebrow. "I don't want to be friends with you anymore. I want to be more than that. I like you, as how a man would ever do. I want to love you like a man that it just kills me. It kills me to think that you might have no feelings for me Funneh. Please like me back." Alec paused. "Please give me a chance."
After hearing the red head's messy confession. She responded with a peck on his cheek. "Y'know, when I first met you at that ballroom party. Wanting to dance with me, with that redheaded hair, there was nothing more which screamed 'Cliche' for me than you asking for a dance."
