as the sun finally sets, you look outside your bedroom window, seeing all the lights of the homes in new york turn on. you take a deep breath, appreciating what is around you as this will be the last time you'll see it. you grab your backpack and made your way out the door, leaving a note for your actor boyfriend, tom holland.
you lock the door and walk down the stairs, not wanting to be late to your flight to havana, cuba.

tom had just walked into his apartment complex, tired from being on set all day, just wanting to lay in your arms and fall asleep watching a movie that you would pick.
he opened the door to your shared apartment, "y/n?" he called. no answer.
he walked into your shared bedroom, no one was there. you weren't there, you weren't anywhere in the apartment. the worried boy called you multiple times but no answer, since you have changed your number only giving it to your parents.
after what it seemed like hours, tom sat down on the couch, with tears forming in his eyes. his girlfriend, lover and most importantly his best friend was gone.
gone forever.
