Emmas P.O.V
The kiss seemed like it lasted forever till we heard whistling and hollering at the bottom of the balcony and i saw that kent was still alive and he was really mad that we were together and that Hunter kissed me.
"Can I kill my brother?"
"Are you sure you want to do that?"
"Yes"
"Here then"
He handed me a gun. I looked straight into his eyes and i shot the gun. the bullet hit his heart and he fell down into the pool. The guys got him out and out him on a fourwheller and drug him out to the lake an dumped his body in the river. It felt good to know that the people who turned there back on me was gone for good.
Hunters P.O.V
She took the shot. I didnt think she would but she did. I heard a knock on the door so i ran downstairs to see a police officer with a flag in his hands. and i just thought the worst
"Hunter smith?" the officer asked
The boys came running then stoped as he said the word that killed me.
"Your dad has passed away in battle im so sorry"
He gave me the flag and he walked off my porch. I looked at the guys as Will looked at me as a tear feel down my cheek as did Wills. (Hunter and Will are brothers).
"Will..." i started to say before he passed me and ran up the stairs
"Hes really gone this time" i said looking up at james
James hugged me and just let me cry into his shoulder. It may of sounded gay but i dont care. My dad just passed away and i felt like killing anyone who ever douted him and talked bad about him. I walked upstairs and saw Emma standing there on the balcony and walked behind her and she jumped a little then saw that i had a flag in my hand that had blood on it.
"What happened?"
"My dads dead"
I looked up at her and she pulled me into a hug and i just cryed into her shoulder. i heard a knock on the door and i knew it was Will. i pulled out of her hug and Will came in.
"Dont tell me its true and the man was pulling a prank"
"Will im so sorry but he wasnt pranking us its true dads dead"
Will walked up to me and i saw that he was crying and for the first time he pulled me into a hug and we just cried then everyone came in crying and we just pulled each other into one big group hug around me and Will and Brittney grabed Emma and pulled her and for once my life was almost complete exept my brother and my dad wasnt here.
Everyone left after a while of crying ang hugging each other. I turned towerds Emma that was getting her phone.
"Hey this might sound weird and all but will you come to my dads funeral with me tomorrow?"
"Of course i will" she said
"Thank you"
I was looking at her and i went over to her and i kissed her. she meant everything to me, she was the only family besides Will that i had left. but yet again i still dont know what i want and it was bugging me really bad because with my dad diying and all it was hard to know what i wanted.
"We should head to bed"
"Yeah sure" she said tierdly
She got underneath the blankets as i turned the lights off . It was dark in the room so i got my phone out to use the light and i walked over to my side of the bed and i pulled it in and i got underneath the covers and i could feel her shift towerd me so turned to look at her and she cupped my face in her hands and kissed me. Right then and there i knew what i wanted in life i wanted to be with her.
