Second Day of School

Maggie's Pov

Today is the second of school and I really don't feel like going because two reasons: one, I'm 100 percent sure that Taylor will be there, and two I just hate school in general because what teenager doesn't hate high school? 

"Maggie? Are you getting dressed?"

"No mom" as soon as I said that my mom was standing in the doorway of my room. 

"Maggie you look like you haven't slept did you sleep last night?"

"Not really. I was wide awake over thinking things as usual."

"Maggie we need to do something about your sleeping schedule, but for now stay home and get some sleep okay? I will call your school, I'll be home around 4-ish there should be plenty of food in the house though."

"Okay thanks mom"

"Your welcome honey, I love you."

"I love you too mom." my mom closed my door behind her I turned on my TV and went straight to Netflix to binge watch 'The Vampire Diaries'. I made it to  season 1, episode 9 before I paused it and put on a Disney so I could go back to sleep. 

----2 Hours Later----

I woke up and my phone started ringing. I picked up my phone and it was Brad, crap Brad is calling me!!! 

"Hello?" I made my voice sound like I was loosing my voice. 

"Maggie? Where are you?"

"Brad, oh my god I totally forgot to text you that I wasn't coming to school today. My mom said that I could stay home and get some sleep since I didn't get any sleep last night."

"Oh thank god, I was so worried about you Maggie."

"I'm sorry Brad, I didn't mean to worry you."

"Its okay I know your okay now and that's all that matters. Did you get some sleep then?"

"Uh yeah I guess if you count two hours."

"So no you didn't get any sleep is what your telling me?"

"Yeah I just can't sleep lately and I don't know why."

"Oh that's a little weird Maggie, well why don't you just try to get some sleep for me okay?"

"Okay I'll try Brad"

"Good that's all I ask Maggie. I love you"

"I love you too Brad"

I hung up my phone and plugged it back in on the charger and layed back down. I turned off my tv to see if that would help me sleep better and after thirty minutes of starring at the ceiling I found myself asleep.
