Chapter one: The alley

I was slowing walking to my house late one night. I was guessing it had to be somewhere around Midnight, because how dark it was outside. The wind howled with coldness, shivers when down my spine,I took an alley home so I could get home faster. I've been through this alley way too many times. It seemed abandoned by now, but this time there was something different. There was a bright glow behind one of the dumpsters! Who was it? What was it? Should I look? Questions race my mind. 

I sneaked up to the dumpster where the glowing light was.  Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head and everything faded to black, My breathing became slow, my heart rate went up, and before I knew it I passed out.
