"Mommy! Mommy! Zaine hit me!" Rendall pouted as Zaine came running behind her.
"She started it!" I rose my eyebrow at him.
"How so?" I questioned.
"Well," he hesitated, "She kept staring at me! Look at her! She's got big eyes it was creeping me out!" He said making Rendall gasp and tackle him.
Why did I have to have twins? I would have perfectly content with one child. 7 years later and I have yet to have another child cause these two are such a handful. Logan wants more and I can't believe I was actually thinking about it. If there were more of these devils running around I would pull all my hair out. I'd be a mad woman.
"Enough, enough!" Logan groaned walking in and scooping them both up in his arms with ease. "How bout some ice cream?" he asked and they cheered rushing to go get their shoes on.
"Way to swoop in and save the day." I chuckled, "We are rewarding their bad behavior, ya know."
"They're siblings babe their bound to fight. "
I sighed as he entangled our hands together and grabbed the keys from the key hanger right next to the door.
"Zaine! Rendall! Let's go!" I yelled and they came running down the stairs and to the car.

We had gotten ice cream and went to the park. Zaine stayed seated on my lap as Rendall mingled with the other kids.
"Why don't you go play sweetie?" I asked him.
"The other kids don't like me moma," he stated sadly before looking up at me,"They like Rendall. The bigger kids pick on me." he pouted drawing Logan's attention. Zaine had told me this before when I brought them to the park alone. Though this was knew information to Logan.
"Who picks on you buddy?" Logan asked and Zaine buried his head in my neck whispering.
"Daddy's gonna embarrass me." I chuckled standing up with him and placing him back down to the ground. I grabbed his hand and we made our way to the bigger kids.
"Hey guys," I spoke, "My Zaine here would like to show you guys something." I spoke making Zaine look up at me confused. I crouched down to him and gestures for him to hold his hand out. I focused on his hand making making a tiny little ball of energy sparkle up above his hands making the others gasp. I then looked at the boy I knew had been making the other kids pick on Zaine and the ball of energy followed my eyes and charged at the kid knocking him over. Not enough to hurt him though.
I stood up winking at Zaine as the kids gather around him while Zaine punches the air and kicks the air as the watched I smiled down at the group of boys and Logan came and wrapped an arm around me.
"You are literally a super mom." He spoke making me throw my head back in laughter. But then something didn't feel right. It seemed like time slowed and I looked up and saw a figure whom looked like myself. Hiding behind a tree. Watching the little boys play. When she felt my stare she looked up and smirked.
Esmerelda?
No that's not possible. Not breaking eye contact she began to walk to right her head still turned looking dead at me. I began slowly walking while Logan called out to me but it was almost like I couldn't hear him anymore. Without knowing it I slowly caused the weather to completely change and the wind started whistling and the sky darkened making it harder to keep my eye on her. So I sped up. And she did too and she smirked at me one last time before Logan grabbed my shoulders making me face him. When I looked at him I calmed down making the sky lighten and the sun was visible again. I looked at the playground and realized the winds had been so heavy they had tossed people belonging around and they began to take their children and leave. I then looked back to the trees and she was no longer there.
"Let's go home, yea?" Logan asked as I slowly nodded my head still looking at the trees. It couldn't have been her.
