Zeus's P.O.V

I have been having a really bad day so far because my son Heracles is supposed to be the prophecy child, but I don't know when it will come into play. So I'm having him do a quest for immortality, but Hera decides to make him do twelve labors, only because he killed his family. What kind of sick twisted woman is she making someone do twelve tasks because they killed a few people. I was going to make him get one of the golden apples but no! Hera made that his eleventh task. I don't think he can do these tasks though, Hera gave him some pretty hard ones. Maybe if a demigod could follow him without being seen, until the prophecy comes into play to make sure he's safe. Yeah that's what I'll do. Perfect.

But the demigod will have to be fast and strong. Also only interfere when absolutely necessary. But which demigod.

At the same time Artemis flashes in, "What Artemis" I ask her wondering what she has to tell me. "Poseidon, father he has a demigod child, but this one is also the same as the one you ordered Ares to kill, he didn't listen instead gave the child to Poseidon he is supposed to be dead." "WHAT! YOU MEAN TO TELL ME ARES DID NOT KILL THE BOY!" Zeus yelled enraged. "Yes father," Artemis responded. Zeus then proceeded to throw his lightning old into the sky and within seconds the council was there. "Poseidon bring the boy! NOW!" Zeus thundered, Poseidon only nodded his head sadly. Then was gone.

Percy's P.O.V

I was talking to mother about what was going to happen to me when dad came back looking really down. "Perseus we have to go." Was all he said and held out his hand to me. "yes father let's go." I said realising that the council wanted me. I grabbed my fathers hand and we were gone.

I reappeared in front of the council of the gods. I could practically feel the power rolling off of them in waves. It was a bit intimidating."Ares is this the boy you were supposed to kill sixteen years ago?" "yes Zeus" came the muffled reply of the war god. "Why then is he not dead?" "because the boy didn't deserve to die, he was a harmless child, and how do you know that he will even be the child of the prophecy Zeus." It was more a statement than a question. "That as it may be this child still has to die," Zeus raised his lightning bolt about to strike but was interrupted by none other than myself

"Zeus I do not even want to be the child of the prophecy, I will if you allow it forever forget about the prophecy I could care less who gets it but I do not want to." Without knowing what I had done Zeus smiled, he had Just heard exactly what he wanted to hear. "fine..." Zeus started, "Percy," I answered, "Fine Percy, I will give you a choice then. Either you die, or You shadow my son Heracles on his way to greatness, Just follow him around without him knowing until the prophecy comes into play. But don't interfere unless necessary, what do you choose?" First I absolutely despised Heracles, He is a stupid, arrogant, cocky, big-headed, egoistic, jerk, but then again I don't want to die either, "I have decided I will follow your son Heracles instead of dying Lord Zeus." I said.

"Okay you will need to be immortal, so who here is willing to bless Perseus?" Zeus asked, three hands rose, those hands belonging to Apollo, Ares, and...Hestia? Why would she want to bless me. "Okay Percy you will be blessed by these three gods, they will teach you in your abilities and train you to shadow Heracles."

(LINE BREAK)

Being blessed stung a little, but totally worth it. I'm a sixteen year old immortal son of Poseidon. Sure I can die in battle, but other than that I will be sixteen forever. My training cycle was pretty easy it went dad, Apollo, Ares, then Hestia. Today I'm only meeting the gods and they are telling me what I will do to train with them. I'm currently with Hestia, "Perseus in my palace you will be learning how to control the powers that come with my blessing, its much like controlling your water powers. Only the opposite." She explained.
