Later that night, the vampire turned Namjoon into half-vampire. It hurt like hell. He screamed and he thrashed around, feeling the venom enter his skin. His body wanted to shut down and his head throbbed.
The female vampire, whose name was Mina, watched as he screamed and rolled around. She did it before - turning a human into a vampire. Most of them didn't survive.
"Mommy?"
Mina turned around, a bright smile on her face. "Baby, hi! What are you doing up so late?"
The little girl walked over to her mother, glancing at Namjoon before turning her attention back to her mother. "I'm not sleepy," she responded before climbing onto her mother's lap.
"You shouldn't have to listen to this," Mina said, referring to Namjoon's screaming.
"He's young. Is he going to be my friend?"
"Yes, Nana. Now, go to bed," Mina said.
"But I want to play with him," Nana said.
"You can play with him in the morning. Come on, I'll tuck you in."
Mina lifted her up and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Nana smushed her mother's face together and pecked her on the cheek. Mina cooed at her daughter. Nana let out a fit of giggles as her mother kissed her whole face.
"I love you, Mommy."
"I love you too, Nana."
