Red's POV
Hey I'm Red, I guess I should tell you about myself, well I'm 16, I'm 5'4 at the moment I moved to California 2 months ago and I started school last week and thats it. Ok so I'm at the mall getting ready for the show. You see, I come to the west side of the mall every Saturday from 2pm to 8pm to do a show. Pretty much how this all started was that my friend, Skylar told me there were job openings at the new mall near her house and I definitely wanted a job, I mean I really did like my co-workers at Pink's Hot Dogs, but I did want to explore more in the job industry and the mall sounded like a great place to go. So one day I went to the new mall and I went into Starbucks, "Hey, could I get a grande mocha cookie crumble frappuccino?" I asked the lady. She was an older lady, but you could tell just by looking at her that she was young and sweet at heart. She had thick dirty blond hair and hazel eyes, she was about 5'2. "Ok can I get your name?" she asked. "Aria" I said, "What a pretty name" she said while writing it down on the cup. "Thank you" I said. "Will that be all?" she asked. I thought over the decision I was making in my head and said, "Could I actually get a job application?" "Of course" she said with a smile. She gave me an application and then she gave me my coffe. "Thank you" I said, "Thank you too" she said. I left Starbucks and went to other stores, pretty much all of them had a 'NOW HIRING' sign. I went into Aéropostale and bought a crop top that said believe in unicorns, a cream knit sweater, and a multi-colored southwest scoop-back crop top; they were all from Betany Mota's clothing line. I also picked up an application while I was there. So far I had an application for Starbucks, Forever 21, and Aéropostale. Then I was heading to the west side of the mall and I saw a stage, suddenly I hit something, fell to the ground, and almost all of my things fell out of the bags. " Wow are you ok? I'm so sorry" I heard a guy say helping me up and picking up my things. "Yea I'm fine, don't worry about it" I said looking up to see a really cute guy picking up all of my things from the ground. "Umm uh thanks" I said. Wow pull it together Aria he is just a guy. He stood up and helped me up as well, "thanks" I said again. "No problem I bumped into you so sorry" he said. "It's all good don't worry about it " I said. "I'm Adam" He said sticking out his hand for me to shake. "I'm Aria" I said shaking his hand. Is this some kind of buisness thing or something because a usual 'hi my name is blah blah blah ' would suffice. "Umm so I guess I'll see you around?" He said taking two steps back. "Yea ok" I said starting to leave as well. I got up to the stage and there was a sign that said ' Sign up here for the entertainment contest!'. Suddenly I found myself in front of a table a lady on the other side of the table smiled and said, "Hey wanna sign up for the entertainment conest? It will be judged by a talent scout, the owner of the mall, and famous austrailian singer Alli Simpson! The winner of the contest will get to preform here one day each week and they will be paid $125 a week. So do you want me to sign you up?" "Umm let me think about that, I'll be back." I said. I walked over to the fountain that was near the stage. '$125 a week, I love to sing, and it's a compitition so if I lose I can just work at one of the stores that i took an application from. I don't really have anything to lose, but this is a new mall and people from my school might come, I dont know, I just don't know if I want anyone to know I sing right now because I barely even know the people at my school other than Skylar. Plus the plan that I have foming in my head would be fun if I win. So went back to the table and the lady gave me an aplication, asking for my name, date of birth, gender, what my act would be, and my signiture. I wrote down my gender and date of birth, and then I wrote my name down as Red. I then signed as Red, and put the sheet into a basket full of other solo act applications.
