Yodeldown Dance

"Hey guys! Have you seen this?" Tom pointed to a poster on the wall. Glob and co. gathered round Tom, looking eagerly. The poster read 'Yodeldown Fancy Dress Disco! Friday 18th May. Bring a partner or come alone!'

This was Glob's chance. He could find a girl at the disco there would be sooo many. Glob smiled the biggest smile he had in the past month. His squad hugged him. They were all thinking the same thing.

Glob and his friends spent the rest of lunch with his friends thinking about what fancy dress they will wear. The disco was the Friday after next and they were so excited!

"Are you going to the disco?" Loca asked Glob as they walked to their next lesson.

"Yep!" said Glob happily, "Are you?"

"I'm pretty sure I am. It's going to be so fun!" replied Loca, "Oh Glob, by the way me and Gabe are going out for dinner tonight in town. I was wondering if you could help me pick out what to wear? You're just so good at this stuff."

"Sure, why not?" replied Glob.

"Great," smiled Loca, "Could you possibly meet me at the lockers after school?"

"See you then," said Glob and he hurriedly globbed his way down the corridor to find his friends.

"John! Jacky! Tom! Wait!" Glob panted as he sprinted globbily down the corridor, "Guys you've got to come to town with me tonight!"

"Why?" said Jacky.

"Gabe and Loca. They're going out for dinner! We must follow!" said Glob, still panting.

"Glob! I thought you were moving on!" said John.

"Please. I just need to see this," pleaded Glob, "Maybe then I could move on."

"How will we get home?" asked Tom.

"We'll get a bus in town. Pleaseee guys, I'll pay for all the food," begged Glob.

"Wait we get food?" said Tom.

"Yeah well we can't really go into a restaurant and just not buy any food," said Globbo, "We'll just get some starters or some deserts or something."

"Lol I'm coming then," said John.

"We'll come too," agreed Tom and Jacky.

"Great boiis. Thanks so much!" said Glob happily, "I've got to help Loca choose an outfit for her date so I'll come straight to the school gates when I'm done."
