Derek's POV

I haven't been feeling well, I've had Jaspal come over. We called our doctor and scheduled an appointment.

-Time Skip to the appointment-

(Still Derek's POV)

It was the day of the appointment and the twins haven't been kicking, in getting very worried.

Me and Jaspal got into the car and headed to the doctors office. We went into the waiting room, checked in, and waited. We got some strange looks from some mothers, but we ignored them.

We were called back, and our doctor said with a sad look on his face, "It seems like the serum had a negative effect on the twins, I'm sorry..."

I couldn't believe what I heard, I looked at Jaspal and saw that he was crying. We left the doctors office and Jaspal dropped me off at my house and he went home, so he could get ready for work.

I can't believe that Jaspal just left me here to deal with this on my own, does he even feel sad! God, sometimes I hate him!
