grenfell tower fire.

it's been one entire fucking year since the tower right next to my school blazed up in fire and i need to speak out.

so why am i not saying this in the rant book?

because this is an an important issue that not enough americans are paying attention to.

and i know that most of you are american.

let's see; it's been an entire year since i stood there in the middle of the street, staring at a blackened and burnt tower block and having it stare back at me. it has been an entire year since i had this picture sent to me by a friend.

do you see that smoke? the smoke of a fridge exploding? do you see the smoke infused with the last breaths of people from my community?

this is the tower in full blaze. i can just about hear the shouting of men trying to to find their wives and children. i can just about hear the screaming of children who the smoke was filling their lungs. i can hear the people from below trying to shout to the people they could, crying because they knew people who were trapped in there. and i know of that because of videos.

do you know how much it hurt to know that one of my first friends from my school was in there with her family? do you know how much it hurt when i woke up at 9:47am and opening the window to see the grey smoke arising in the distance? do you know how much it hurt to stand in the middle of the road and see the building staring back? you don't, that's right.

you see that building on the bottom left? that is my school.

it was mierna's school. it was jessica's school. it was firdaws' school. it was yahya's school. it was biruk's school.

and it hurts that theresa may showed her face around 5 weeks after the fire when jeremy corbyn, queen elizabeth the second and many more showed their face on the day of the day after the fire.

so three words to theresa may;

SHAME. ON. YOU.

shame on american media for not informing america of the blazing inferno happening in west london.
