The fresh winter air caressed Taehyung's face as he road on his  through the streets of the only town he's ever known. As his tires glided up and down various hills, the crisp air bit at Taehyung's lips and nipped at his ears. He rode through the streets, various shops and metal fences surrounded the young boy. Taehyung lived in downtown Daegu in an area some might call ghetto or poor, evidently not a very good place to live. But, as he drifted through the streets of Daegu, his worries were lifted with every shop and fence he passed. Although it was winter where he lived, the season was slow coming in it's snow. However, what it lacked in snow, it  paid for in crowded grey clouds and early winter frost, which hugged the ground tightly as if it were afraid to let go. As the teen admired the scenery, he soon took notice to a change his surroundings. Asphalt turned into concrete as he rolled through paved sidewalks surrounded by freshly cut grass. He lifted his head only to find neatly arranged houses with carefully organized lawns each house containing a different shrub or flower bush. Taehyung smiled as he approached an ever so familiar bush decorated extensively with pastel pink peonies. He placed his bike down next to a similar, but varying in color, black and gold bike with careful hands so that it rest on the sidewalk in front of the house. As he made his way towards a large wooden door, the door knob was turned without a thought of knocking, the boy, suddenly confident in entering such a familiar atmosphere, called out with a sing song voice "Honey, I'm home!" He finished with a laugh. "Taehyung, sweetie is that you?" He heard a sweet voice question. I didn't know she was home. Taehyung thought as his confidence was replaced instead by respect and admiration. "Yes, Mrs. Park." The younger called out in a soft voice. An older lady walked in with long black hair and a turquoise apron, eyes softening when her gaze landed on Taehyung. " Now how many times have I told you, just call me eomma." Mrs. Park smiled. "Sorry, eomma." The younger whispered, his head down while his right hand was brought to play with the fingers on the left. The woman smiled sweetly, hand moving towards the younger's shoulder. "Don't be sorry." Her eyes lowering to gaze at the younger's shoulder. "Have you eaten yet?" The older questioned upon feeling the younger's dainty shoulder. "Yes, and I'm quite full, but thank you." Taehyung let the lie roll off his tongue as if it were made of silk. "Well, alright," she responded gaze not leaving Taehyung's shoulder as she let her hand slip, releasing Taehyung from her caring grip, the younger smiling up at her as if nothing was wrong. "But, remember that there's always food here, if you need it." She smiled, happy to take care of who she considered to be her second son."Jimin's up in his room, go on now, he can't stay in there forever." She said as she glanced up towards the stairs suggesting he head up to the blondes room. Taehyung offered one last smile nodding before he made his way up the stairs towards his best friends room. The brunette turned left down a long corridor at the top of the stairs, turning to the right, and knocking on the last door in the hallway across form the bathroom. "Knock knock" The younger called entering without actually knocking, his confident mood from earlier had returned as quickly as it left. "Manners!" A high pitched voice retorted. "I didn't say you could come in, young man." The blonde said looking up from his previous position, tying his shoes whilst sitting on his bed. "Good morning to you too, sunshine." The younger sighed, watching Jimin smirk at his attitude. " Is that the shirt I gave you?" Jimin questioned. "Y-yes." Taehyung stuttered. "Aw." The older cooed, appreciating his best friends cuteness and sincerity. The younger looked down at his feet a slight blush appearing on his face. "So, are we going to go?" He questioned looking back up. Of course," Jimin replied smiling, retreating from his previous position on the bed to grab his backpack. "Lets go!" He patted the younger on the back signaling him to move forward. They roamed through the hall and down the stairs with quick speed. "Bye, eomma!" The two boys yelled in unison, Jimin grabbing an apple on his way out, Taehyung watching him with a smile. "Bye, have a nice day boys!" Taehyung's expression brightening at her reply, waving slightly as he made his way out the door. The two best friends grabbed their bikes and headed down the sidewalk towards in the direction of their to school. "Hey Tae?" Jimin called. "Yeah?" He responded. "There's supposed to be a new kid at school," he said. "I heard he's a bad boy... just your type." The older smirked. "Hyuuuuung." The younger whined, rolling his eyes. I don't know how much more embarrassment I can take in one day.
