Something to Say

I just want to get something off my chest.

There are some people that insult others art supplies. But sometimes those people that you may be insulting are poor and don't have any money. They still make awesome art.

Someone did that to me once. Only because my sketch book wasn't one of those big nice ones. And because I wasn't using an actual art pencil. I was using a mechanical pencil.

And the reason for those things is that I didn't have a big nice sketchbook because that was my experimental sketchbook where I try new things. My big ones are for actual art works.

The pencil is because I don't like the actual art pencils. I hate that they don't have erasers and that you have to sharpen then every now and then.

Another thing is that people also insult other peoples art. I hate those kinds of people. They might have not had as much experience. Maybe they are just trying it for their first time. Or their art is just better then yours and your just jealous. Don't do that. What if someone has a dream to be an animator when they grow up but you insult their animation. They might give up on that dream.

I myself had some of these things happen to me. One if my friends said that my sketch book was small and that they had a bigger one. And then another time I showed that same friend a picture of a art picture I did at school for an art project and they said that theirs had more detail. And you know what? I don't talk to that person anymore. I don't even call them my friend. Once I even showed them one of my bigger sketch books and said "look I have my bigger one!" And they only said huh? Like they didn't even remember that time.

But I didnt give up. I kept drawing.

If this happens to you, just know that people are out there looking up to you. Looking at your art. Probably more people like that then there are that "hate" your art.

Sorry. That's just been building up inside of me for about a year. I just needed to say something about it.
