chapter; 8

chloe's pov:

its been a few months since jonah told me about wanting to find his sister. two months i've sat on if i should ask his mum about it or not. very little has been said about it. jonah's mum is flying over in a week for the uk tour dates. i don't think i can wait another week, the scotland date is getting closer and closer, and i wanted to have found her by then. me and his mum get on really well so i'm hoping she'll listen to me. i pulled out my phone informing the boys minus jonah that i was about to text his mum. i got good luck texts back.
here goes nothing.

hello chloe. remember call me carrie.
how are you? how's my boy doing.

chloe
i'm good thank you. how are you?
jonah is great. although if you want the truth he's been a little down lately.

carrie
why? what's happened?
isn't he enjoying tour?

chloe
god, no, he's loving tour so much. it's erm that he wants to find his sister. i wanted to try find her and surprise him for his birthday so please don't tell him we've spoke.

carrie
the one he's never met?

chloe
well yeah, i was just wanting to try make him smile and be happy again.

carrie
i've already told jonah not to look for her. he won't be able to find her and either will you. don't go against my wishes please chloe.

chloe
i didn't mean to upset you but this isn't fair on jonah. he gets so upset seeing everyone having a relationship with their siblings. seeing brothers protecting their little sisters. jonah just wants to do the same for his sister.

carrie
technically i can't stop you looking for her, she's over 18. if she knew she was adopted and wanted to find us she would of by now and she hasn't.

chloe
she might not even know she's adopted so that's not fair.

carrie
look for her then. you won't find anything new. don't say i didn't warn you when you wound up kicking your self for not making him happy with finding her.

i adore your son. mrs frantzich. all i can do is at least try and if i don't get anywhere then i can say i've tried at least.
