“Who knows what?” I asked them.
“We can’t get her involved,” Josh said elbowing Mark.
“What’s going on?” I asked the three of them.
“Just a hunch Mark has,” Jordan said trying to make me think it was nothing.
“You’re lying; I know when you lie to me Jordan. What’s going on?” I asked again.
“This is why you can’t get attached to the subject Jordan,” Mark yelled.
“She’s not the subject.” Jordan snapped at them.
“She is Jordan, you know it.” Josh yelled.
“So this whole thing is a mission,” I asked crying. I thought I finally had my best friend back. But instead I had a guy who didn’t really care about me. I ran out of my room crying. Jordan was protesting, but didn’t come after me. I ran outside and sat under a tree in the front yard.
“Don’t cry Amy,” a male voice said behind me. I thought it was one of the boys, so I turned around.
I slipped away from the tourist group I was hiding in. I was in Italy at the time. I knew that they weren’t far behind. I ran down the street hoping that I would be safe. I saw one of them and knew he had seen me. I dogged down the street praying that he wouldn’t run after me. The man followed me. I was scared and ran for my life. I slammed into one of them and screamed. He grabbed me tightly.
I screamed as they threw me into the back of a van. Jordan ran out the front door of the school. He was yelling and crying. Addison was behind him crying. Emma and Ellie tried to hold Addison back from running after the van. Jordan, Josh, and Mark were following the van. The van turned down the street and I lost sight of my family and friends.
I had been put on an airplane. I don’t know how long I was on the plane. I woke up hours later in a little shack.
“Amy just woke up,” Someone yelled. Somebody walked up to me and slapped me. I yelped in pain and started crying. The person grabbed me by the hair.
“Amy, answer a few questions and we won’t hurt you.” A man said. I yanked away from them quickly.
“Beat her,” A man said as I slid across the floor. Someone grabbed me from behind. They had me held in a way that I couldn’t move. The person was choking me. I couldn’t breathe. The person dropped me to the floor. I couldn’t move.
“Let’s go, she won’t tell us anything until she wakes up again.” Somebody said. I heard a door slam. I waited for awhile before I stood up and left the shack. As soon as I was outside, I knew where I was. My cell phone rang in my pocket. I thought that they would have already taken that away from me, but I didn’t care. I answered it.
“Outside of Athens, I’m fine. I’ll be at the Cecil hotel.” I said before hanging up. I knew they would be coming after me. I got a taxi ride to the hotel.
“Madam Kay, welcome,” One of my best friends, the manager of the hotel said.
“A room please, Michael,” I told him.
“Of course Amy, is everything alright? Last time you were here, you were here with Jordan. Is everything going ok?” He asked me.
“Nothing is right, can I just get a room and we can play catch up later.” I snapped at him. He nodded and led me to a room.
“Get some sleep Amy. I don’t know what’s going on, but I want you to get some sleep before we talk.” Michael said leading me to the bed in the hotel room. I was quickly asleep.
“Let her sleep Michael,” I heard someone say hours later.
“I want to know what’s going on Jordan. I need to know what happened.” Michael said.
“All I know is that she was kidnapped away from her school.” Jordan said.
“Why is she here?” Michael asked.
“I don’t know what happened really.” Jordan said. Jordan grabbed my hand and squeezed tightly. I opened my eyes and looked up at him.
“Jordan what’s truly going on?” Michael asked.
“I don’t know Mike. I really don’t.” Jordan said. I sighed and sat up.
“Personally I don’t remember anything about what happened until yesterday or whatever.” I said. Jordan smiled and Michael jumped.
“Don’t do that to me Amy,” Michael yelled. I smiled at the two of them.
“Is Addie ok?” I asked Jordan.
“Not really, all of the girls are freaking out.” Jordan replied.
“I need to get back.” I muttered.
“The jet leaves tomorrow morning at six.” Jordan whispered.
“It will take most of the day to get there.” I said. Jordan nodded.
“We’ll get there around five so we’ll be landing in time for dinner.” Jordan said.
“Dinner is at six at the school,” I muttered.
“I know, that’s where we’re going, we’re going straight to the school on a private jet.” Jordan said smiling. I smiled and fell back asleep.
“Wake up Amy; we have to be at the airport in thirty minutes.” Jordan whispered. I groaned and got out of the bed. Jordan drove us to the airport. We got on to the plane and started out eighteen hour trip home. Jordan and I sat in silence for the first hour.
“Amy, everyone was worried when you were kidnapped. That’s why Mark lent me the plane. He was worried about you… well, I was worried about you.” Jordan said after that first hour.
“I don’t understand what you mean.” I whispered.
“I was freaking out, and Mark wouldn’t put up with me the way I was acting. He leant me his private jet after I called you and you told me where you were.” Jordan said looking at me worriedly.
“You’re kidding right?” I asked him.
“Not at all, Mark was frustrated with me for freaking out on the guys.”Jordan replied sliding over to where I was sitting. He kissed me slowly. It was strange the way he was acting. I pulled away from him quickly.
“We can’t, I’m sorry but I can’t handle this again.” I whispered.
“Amy don’t worry, I was just being stupid. I know you don’t like me anymore,” Jordan whispered. I smiled and started reading a book. Eventually Jordan fell asleep. I fell asleep shortly after him. The plane landed and Jordan woke me up.
“Come on, fifteen minutes until dinner.” He whispered. I got off the plane and climbed into a black limo that was waiting for us. Jordan climbed out of the limo when it parked at the school. I followed him inside the school. Addison was sitting in the upstairs living room, or as we normally called it, the waiting room to be yelled at by the headmaster. Addison jumped up and attacked me with hugs when I walked inside.
“Amy, your back,” She screamed hugging me again. Ellie and Emma ran up stairs to where we were. Everyone was crying, yelling, and hugging me. I guess you could call it happiness, I’m not really sure if that’s what it really was though. Mark and Josh were talking with Jordan. He looked frustrated with them. The three of them were arguing with each other. The headmaster came out of his office along with the Areo Academy’s headmaster.
“Dinner time, Amy where is your uniform?” The headmaster asked me. I didn’t say anything at first.
“Welcome back, go down to your room and change into your uniform.” The headmaster said. I ran down to my room and changed into my school uniform. I met the girls in the dining hall. At dinner, everything seemed back to normal.
