"Bye mum!!" I called to my mum. I was leaving for school. It was the start of the second semester. "Bye Calli! Stay safe. Don't be afraid to tell Amanda today!" I waved goodbye. I made my way towards my high school. I pulled out my phone and earbuds. I started to play my playlist. Pretty soon, I saw the high school in my vision. I sighed. I walked up the stairs and noticed all the stares that I got. I made my way to my locker. I set my books in and I texted my friend.
C~ You at school?
Amanda~ Yea, where are you?
C~ I'm at my locker. Where are you?
A~ At my car, walking up now. See u in a min.

Amanda has been my crush for a while. Yes, I am Bisexual. I get stares for it a lot but I don't pay attention. I hold my head up in pride. I don't really care about what people think.
I saw Amanda walk up. "Hey! I'm over here!!!" I waved my hands to get her attention. She laughed and made her way over there. "How was your winter?" I laughed. "Well, it was okay. I never heard anything from you though." Amanda giggled a little. "I told you that I was grounded." I made a face.
Time Skip
I was walking with Amanda to the park. I was ready to tell her that I like her. I was hella nervous though. "What did you think about the school day back?" I looked up at her. "It was okay I guess. It was boring." We found a spot near the river that was in the park. I grabbed a small box from my back pack. "Fruit?" I offered some to Amanda. She took some banana pennies (banana cut in tiny slices btw). I grabbed a strawberry. Come on, just tell her! "So Amanda, I really need to tell you something." I looked over at Amanda. She looked over at me and nodded her head. "I've kept this a secret for a while," I hesitated. Oh god here it goes. "I've liked you for a very long time. Since the beginning of middle school actually. I was wondering if you liked me as well." I looked down. Amanda moved closer to me. I looked up at her. She hugged me. "You dummy, why didn't you tell me sooner! I've always liked you." I smiled. "Well then, Amanda will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" She broke out of the hug. "Of course!" I smiled and brought her closer to me. She smiled at me. "You know, I've been waiting to do this for a while." I stared at her. "Been wanting to do wha-" She brought my face to hers and kissed me. It took me a while to notice what was happening but I kissed her back when I got the memo. Pretty soon, she walked me back to my house. We held hands the whole way there. Once I got to my door, she pulled me in a tight hug. "I love you Calli." I hugged her back. "I love you too Amanda." I pulled her in for a kiss.
And that's the story of how we met. We stayed together for the rest of high school and we went to college together. After college, we got married. We adopted two kids and we raised them well. Our family had a nice happy journey until the fire in our souls gave up. Me and Amanda live a nice happy life, watching over our two kids and their family.
