Meeting you

I thought we had more time.... but things change.
I thought we would be together forever like in the fairytales our parents use to read to us when we were younger, but that not how life work no matter how hard we wish it did.
You were the only good thing in life, the only good thing IN my life.
Now you're gone, it hurts but deep down I knew this would happen.
"Hey guys this is shay, she moved in to the apartment next to me, what like a week ago?"
" two weeks actually, I don't really get out much"
" you think she would be out every night especially since she lives alone" Kay laughed out.
" oh haha, sorry this is Luke and Blake" Kay look at me with that sweet smile I've grown use to the the pass two week since I moved here
" so had she managed to drag you out of your apartment? Bribed you with shopping?" Luke ask with a cute little Smirk

Luke and Kay laughed and I thought I seen a small smile from Blake.
Luke was a couple inches taller than me, with blonde hair and if he stood in the light perfectly you could see hints of red, his eyes were a deep green, he was built but not in a bad way.
Blake looked liked he was maybe 6'2 with Shadoway black hair, deep dark blue eyes like he was hiding something he doesn't want anyone to find out. He was stunningly breathtaking.
"nice I like you already" Luke laughed
I breathed out a thanks with nervous short laugh.
It was nice know that I had friends, I was never the girl people liked, my dad was never in my life except if he needed money , funny right him needed money from a sixteen year old. After The doctors found
out Mom had a tumor the size of a watermelon, every last cent I was make went to helping her,I had prayed she would get better. That was the last time I prayed, it's been three years since that day, and look at me I have a decent job and apartment, and new friends.
While I was listening to Kay and Luke I had nonchalantly looked over And noticed Blake wouldn't acknowledge me that is until I caught him glaring at me. I ignored it of course, well I wasn't exactly ignoring it I might of been looking at him too.
When we locked eyes it felt like we had been the only to people at the mall, scratch that in the universe.
That is until he blurts out "I have to go" he said briefly while he turned for the door.
"Well okay" kay say
" yeah I have to get ready for work, bye y'all I'll see you tomorrow Kay" I said feeling awkward and practically running for the door.
"well that was weird" Luke laughed out
