Seven"We don't have to worry about hustling for a long time now, we can finally live like ordinary people." My mother said.
We were at a stop light at she was going on and on of how our lives were changing finally. Me and Cash we too busy I eating our Zaxbys to listen to what she had to say.
"Are you gonna eat your sauce?" I asked him. He shook his head no and gave it to me. My new iPhone 7 Plus had started ringing, it was way past due to get rid of that ugly little government phone.
"Yes?" I asked with a mouth full which my mother didn't like since she slapped my arm.
"Are you still coming to the party? I'm waiting for you." I sighed.
"Yes I guess, I'll get my mom to drop me off.. just send me the address." My mom looked at me confused. "Wait.. get your mom to drop you off... she got a new car?" She asked. "I'll explain later, just send me the address girl damn." I hung up.
"First off you didn't even ask me to go to wherever this place is, and second off I don't want want everybody knowing our business, so if you tell somebody then make sure they keep their mouth shut. You understand?" I nodded. Peaches sent me the address and I put it in.——————————-
"Why didn't you tell me you were going to a party LayLay?" I sighed.
"Because I didn't think I was going mommy, now I love you. Bye." I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.Once I got in the house everybody was looking at me which made me feel nervous. Maybe my makeover and new wardrobe didn't look as good. Omg, what if I had a booger. I quickly rushed to find the nearest bathroom. I looked at my hands then accidentally bumped into somebody which knocked the wind out of me .
"What were your going bruh ." I rolled my eyes then got back up.
"Obviously you weren't looking either." I mumbled. I looked up at the person to see it was Chris.
"Awwl shit, damn Seven you look pretty." I smacked my teeth.
"Whatever, where's your bathroom?" He smirked.
"Down the corner on the left, hope you enjoy your night." I nodded and walked away."Girl! What the hell." Peaches came in the bathroom with wide eyes.
"I knew something was wrong, I was trying to look normal and I knew it just wouldn't work out. Damn, now I look like a hot-" she cut me off.
"Shut the hell up, you look beautiful. I mean like you were already beautiful but you look like a Queen now. Where did you get money from?" I sat down in the toilet and explained everything to her."I always thought your mom should be a singer with them vocals she got. So how do you feel?" I shrugged, "I don't know to be honest, I'm happy but I feel like it's not real. And then I feel like it's not gonna last for long, like we'll be right back at square one soon, ya know?" She sighed.
"You can't be thinking like that though girl, and even if it does just enjoy it before it does end. When's the last time you wore Jordan's?" She asked. I laughed.
"My point exactly, now let's go it here and have fun!" I nodded and we walked out.
