" You are what I call, 'A boy that is too perfect.' How were you sent here to this fucked up world in the first place? "
" I was sent to...
Hello again. Welcome to my school. Let me start off by saying that this place is hell. Well, there are the angels in this school, of course, but we'll get to them later.
Let's talk about the different types of people here. You got the nerds who are actually pretty cool, the dumb jocks, the mean girls, but there are too many of them, the popular girls who are actually nice, the rebels (that is where I belong, apparently), the slackers, the teachers pets (I hate most of them), and the angels.
If you want a friend for your whole high school life, better to choose a friend from the angels. Though, they are technically friends with everyone. Sadly, I have to taint one of their kind's souls. Arlo Lovette. His last name is cute to be honest.
Wait, did I seriously just write that?
Eh. Who cares. This is a diary. I can write anything that comes to my mind.
Speaking of last names, I never said mine. Not that it mattered anyways, but my last name is C̶a̶m̶p̶b̶e̶l̶l̶
Ehh, my last name is more popular due to a series on YT. Camp Camp? Yeah, thats the one. Many people are fans of of it in my school. They like to joke about my name sometimes, but I'm not saying all of them do that. Just some. Most of them are pretty chill, actually.
I am gonna have to stop writing now. We're going to cook...or something.
Yours truly,

Lyle snuck his diary back into his bag before following the others into the home economic room, where they were to cook. Just as the boy entered, he heard his name get called by the teacher. "Lyles!" Ms. Smith called. "Yes, teach?" He said, now realizing she was going to pair him up with someone. "You're paired with Arlo." Ms Smith said before turning to the others. "Nice pairing, teach." He muttered before looking at Arlo, who was waving frantically as if he were afar.
"Mr. Lyle! Hey!!" He greeted with a grin. Arlo was a short boy with dark brown hair, a beanie, and a black sweater (look at the boy in the cover as reference). Lyle was a red head with a bit of long hair. He could tie it into a small, low ponytail if needed, which he did for this class in particular. He has a few marks on where injuries used to be, but they were usually covered with his jacket. He rolled up his sleeves as to not get any of the ingredients on them.
Lyle looked at Arlo and went over. "Heya." He greeted. Arlo raised an eyebrow and went a bit closer to Lyle. "Aren't you excited?? We're gonna cook something up!" The boy said with a cute giggle. Lyle rolled his eyes. "The only reason why you're excited is because you never did this before. All the other students here have, and it's usually hell."
Ms. Smith stood in front of the class and cleared her throat. "Ahem." Everyone's heads turned to Ms. Smith. "With the ingredients provided, you will have to make something out of it. Whether that would be pancakes, cupcakes, whatever. Get to it!"
Arlo nudged his head over to the sinks. "Come on! We got to wash our hands first." Lyle chuckled and followed along. "I rarely see anyone bother to wash their hands nowadays here." Arlo was just washing his hands, and when he heard this, his eyes widened. After he finished, he turned around to Lyle and got water onto him with his hands. "Gross!" Arlo laughed. Lyle laughed then went to the sink and washed as well before going back to the table.
Arlo stared at the ingredients provided. "Seriously? All they gave us is a bunch of fruit, yogurt, and granola.." Lyle complained. "Shh. I think I got an idea." Arlo said with a smile. "Ever made a parfait?" Lyle shook his head in response. "Nope." Arlo gasped dramatically. "Really?! We're TOTALLY making this then!"
The two started to make the parfait. "Hm..I never tried this yogurt though. Its vanilla, which is what we need, but then again I never tasted this brand." Lyle smirked a bit at Arlo's comment. "Want to take a spoonful? Just to make sure, of course." Lyle was planning to make him eat the whole thing accidentally. "Sure!" Arlo said with a smile. Lyle took a spoon and got some yogurt before putting it into Arlo's mouth. "How is it?"
Arlo went silent for a bit. Lyle couldn't read his expression at all.
"This...is..." He paused for a bit.
"This is great! We are definitely using this. Come on, hurry up, get to it!" Arlo said as he started making a parfait. Lyle grumbled but nodded anyways. He didn't know how to make a parfait, so he had to follow Arlo, making him look like a dweeb to some people. It felt nice to learn something new though.
"Times up!" Ms. Smith said loudly. She approached Lyle and Arlo. "A parfait? Interesting choice." She took a clean spoon and a bit of it. "..Outstanding! 5 stars!" Ms. Smith said with a smile as she went over to the other students, who haven't made anything.
"Huh. For the first time, I got five stars.." Lyle muttered. Arlo nudged him. "Hey! WE got five stars, together!" Arlo said with a smile. "Right."
