It's a dark, dreary day here in Recksville. Though it didn't matter; Aly didn't care. She always sat outside on days like this, she never talked to anybody. Nobody liked her, nobody knew her. Aly had just appeared out of thin air at school, and she is a loner. Nobody pays attention to the new girl..

Until it all happened.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Who is she?"
"Is she new?"
"I've never seen her before."
These comments were tittering around the hallway as Aly walked by. She kept a straight face, not acknowledging any of the gossipers.
She knew better not to acknowledge them. She would only get mad. What the kids at the school don't get, is why she just appeared like that. Though, as the days slowly went by, people started ignoring her. They shut her out completely to where she couldn't even eat on campus. Everybody would shun her, but she didn't seemed fazed by it. She was a quiet girl at school; a shy one. Maybe that's why nobody knew her. Maybe that's why nobody wanted to know her.
Aly walks home everyday, rain or shine. She isn't concerned about the weather. 'Why is nobody noticing me?' The thought bounced around in her head. Though to Aly, she wasn't very attentive to other people anyways. Nobody knows where she lives, all they know is that she lives on the outskirts of town. It's quite a long way to walk, but nobody cared. Aly didn't care at all.
Her parents are never to be heard of, or found. Nobody knows who they are. Some assume that Aly is an orphan, who is raising herself. Others believe her parents died in an accident, when Aly was a baby. Even Aly didn't know what became of her parents, so she lives by herself.
Aly didn't know what she could do that dreary day in Recksville. She sat outside for a majority of the day, and the rest of the time was spent on painting her room. When night swung around, she had already finished the third wall. You see, every day she would renovate her room. She had only one more wall left, and then her furnishings. Alex liked her privacy, so in her free time at night, she knits curtains for the arched window in her now black bedroom.
But someone didn't respect her privacy.
