Elena's pov

There was a knock on the door, so I went to see who it was. When I got there all I saw was the letter. I opened it and at first all I saw was dear Elena so I flipped it over and it read

Elena

I would love for you to accompany me to my family's ball tonight,
sincerely Elijah.

I said yes not knowing what to expect or even why he wanted me to accompany him so I called him and told him my answer. He told me to wear something nice. Running upstairs to my closet searched for the perfect dress. After about 10 minutes I chose a black and silver dress I had bought a couple days ago.

2 hours later of hair and makeup

Elijah pulled up in a black car I recognized from the only other time I saw him drive. Greeting him as I walked out the door. He smiled at me and complimented my appearance. After we talked for a little we got in the car and drove to the mikaelsons mansion. It was beautiful they had lights everywhere. "This is beautiful did you guys decorate it on your own?" I ask giving Elijah a smile. "My mother only wanted the best and we gave her just that." He says holding out his hand which I took. We walked in arm in arm, everyone stared at us it kind of freaked me out but we dance the night away and then Esther want to talk to me so I went to see what she wanted. She said she could help me get rid of her family and get them out of my life so I can live a normal life. I'm sorry Esther I just I can't because I think I'm in love with your son Elijah I try to explain to her. But all she said was how it is all nonsense you could never be in love with a Vampire. So I agreed I gave her my blood cuz I really she said she could spare Elijah's life and I didn't realize until after I had gave her my blood that she was lying. She said they were going to die after they drink the toast because she link them and she was going to kill Finn cuz he volunteered so I ran and knocked Elijah's glass out of his hand before she could wake him. Everyone stared at me I tried to claim I slipped.

I know I messed up on some Grammer but I will fix it later right now I'm just writing then I'll fix it. Hope you liked the first chapter.
