Awsten/geoff fic, oneshot

Date at the fair

'Geoff! Wait up!' Running at my top speed, wich wasnt very fast i tried to keep up with the mop of brown hair i saw peeking through the crowd.
I could hear his laughter as he was nearing his goal.
Giving a frustrated grunt i willed my legs to move faster.
I should have thought that through, the moment i broke through the crowd i ran face first into a hard chest, making us both topple over a small fence. I shreaked the moment we landed.

A grunt came from under me, freezing me instantly.
Looking down i saw geoff with a gigantic grin on his face looking up at me.
'Well hello to you to.' His hands gripped my waist tightly as he said that.
For the life of me i could not get any words out and trust me i tried.
Frustrated i just huffed and pouted at him.
That only made him laugh again before he got us both up from the ground.
Rubbing down my jeans free from dirt and grass i could feel his eyes on me.
I will not blush, i will not blush! Was going around in my mind like a mantra.
Somehow managing to keep my cool i looked up and even gave him a small smile.

'So, instead of saying hi like a normal person you just deside to race through a crowd on the fair?' I questioned him before flicking his head.
He seemed to be in thought for a while before nodding his head with a pleased look on his face. 'Much more fun, now we got to the ferris weel in a few minutes, so more time for rides!'
Chuckling i just nodded and let him lead me to the entry.
His blue eyes were sparking with delight as we got in the ferris weel.

I should have told him i was not a fan of hights, in hindsight i really should have done that but to late now.
The buckles were placed and we were already going up in the air. My heart was pounding and my palms sweating swiming pools in a heat wave.
Im so beyond fucked. Geoff however was loving it, his head kept wipping back and forth so fast i was worried about a whiplash.
It was a real consern at the time.
The moment we reached the top he grabbed my hand and with the others started pointing out things in our vieuw.
It was breathtaking, just not for the best reason.
Nodding and giving a shaky smile i tried to focus on breathing, who knew you could forget how to do that right?

'Its beautiful isnt it? All the lights from the games and the sun setting behind that field over there.
But you know something even more beautiful is...' that was the moment i regretted eating lunch. The ferris weel jerked to a stop and a lot of cussing was heard from down on the ground.
Geoff took one lool at me and his smile fell of his face.

Well shit.

His hand let go of mine and instead draped over my shoulder before tugging me to his chest. 'Hey are you okay?'
With his other hand he lifted my chin up so i would look at him. 'No.' I wanted to say yes but lying to geoff was just imposible, his whole aura was so calming and without judgement.
He nodded slowly, he kept eyecontact the whole time as i felt his other hand circle around me. He pulled me tighter, letting my face hide in the crook of his neck. 'Jus close your eyes, focus on me and we will be back down before you know it okay?'
Nodding i took a deep breath.
His cologne in combination with the scent of his skin was calming me down faster then anything else i had ever tried.
I hardly heard it but as i was just hiding in his head his lips were next to my ear wispering sweet nothings to me.
Eventhough i was still scared it made me smile.
Without a second of hesitation he did whatever he could to keep me calm and happy. My heart swelled at that, i felt loved.

I was stil so focused on him i barely felt the ride moving again and setting us down on the ground a bit later.
'Awsten?'
My head jerked up at the mention of my name.
Grabbing me he took me out of the ride of horrors.
I expected him to stop walking after we got off but he took me away much further.
When he finaly stopped he grabbed my face in both hands. 'Why didnt you tell me you were scared of hights Awsten?'
A small sigh left my lips.
'I wanted to, but before i knew it we were already on it, and you looked so happy! I didnt wanted to ruin that.. so..'
he gripped my face a bit tighter forcing me to look at him.
'Next time you feel uncomferable you tell me okay? Please?'
The hard look i was expecting wasnt there, it was soft and held alot of worry.
'I promise.' Smiling he gave me a quik kiss on my forehead that made my head do a summersault.
