Shae and Niall

#IMAGINE Your sitting in your bedroom scrolling through old pictures on your laptop of you and your boyfriend, Niall. He’s been on tour for the past 2 months and you haven’t seen him since the start of it. As you look through all the pictures you see lots of you two making silly faces, smiling, and even a few of you kissing. Your phone suddenly buzzes. You see you have a new text from a new number.

NEW TEXT:

hey babe its me. had to get new number. Log on skype? :)

Your heart skips a beat at finally getting a chance to see his face and talk to him. You quickly log onto Skype and see he’s already online and almost immediately a notification pops up that he’s trying to call you. You frantically click answer. Time passes too slowly as the loading icon twirls around the screen. Your heart skips a beat when his face appears on the screen.

“Hey.” You say with a sweet smile.

“Hey love. I miss you more than anything.”

“You have no idea. At least you’re out having fun. I’m just stuck sitting around. I just wanna be with you.”

“YOU have no idea.” He emphasizes. He stops and just stares at you for a minute.

“What?” You ask.

His thoughts break as he says, “Nothing, you’re just so beautiful.”

At this you blush a little. Even after dating him for months you still get butterflies in your stomach when he compliments you, “You don’t look to bad either.” You smile as he runs his fingers through his hair humbly.

“Well, there’s a reason I called you.” He says.

“Spill the beans.” You smile. He quickly begins to rotate the computer to show you he’s on a plane. You become confused, “I thought you guys were at a stop for a while.”

He smiled, “We were, but they gave us a three day break.” He had the look of a happy child on his face.

“Wait, what?” You tried to process what was going on.

“My planes about to take off. I’ll be at the airport in five hours. You’ll pick me up, right?””

“You’re coming here? Right now?” You couldn’t help but jump up from your bed and smile from ear to ear.

“Yes.” He just beamed towards the computer screen.

“Wow. I can’t believe I’m going to be able to see you! I can’t wait babe!”

“Me neither” He smiled, “Well, were taking off so I’m about to lose connection. My plane lands at 2:20 at gate G7. I’ll text you the rest of the details.”

You laugh slightly, “Yea you’ll have to text that to me, I can’t remember all of that.”

“I will. I can’t wait to see your beautiful face babe.”

“Me neither. I love you so much.”

“I love you too.” He waved at the camera then logged off.

The four hours before you head off to the airport pass by too slowly. You get dressed in some cute skinny jeans and one of his shirts that you had taken from him a while back. Even though the shirt is a little big on you, you know he will find it cute so you keep it on.

On the drive to the airport you prep yourself of what you were going to say to him after so long of being away from him. You know you will probably forget anything you plan out, so you decide just to wing it and go with your heart instead. You find a spot to park and quickly walk into the airport searching for the right gate. You glance down at your watch. 6:17 It reads. Just on time you think to yourself. You find a place to sit at the gate and wait for him a little impatiently. You pull out your phone to check twitter to pass the time when suddenly you feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn around to see his bright blonde hair and blue eyes.

“Hello princess.” His Irish accent rolls out of his mouth with a smile.

“NIALL!” You can’t contain your excitement as you run around the chair and jump into his arms, wrapping your legs around your waist. He picks you up and spins you in a circle. He gently places you back on the ground. “I missed you so much.” You say through a few tears. You just hold him for a minute, with your head on his shoulder, where it’s always seemed to fit perfectly.

“I love you.” He whispers in your ear. You pull your head back and smile. Then, after so long he finally leans in close to you and gently places his lips on yours. You close your eyes and kiss him back, your hands wrapped around his shoulder, his around your waist.

Kissing him between every word you say, “I love you too.” You pull back slightly, and with tears in your eyes you say, “Please don’t leave me again.” He wipes the tear from your face as one forms in his eyes.

“I wish I could stay with you forever.” He tells you as he kisses you again. He takes your hand with his right and grabs his small suitcase with his left. “Let’s get out of here babe.”

“We’ll catch a movie at my place. I could use some cuddle time.” You smile.

“Sounds great. I like your shirt by the way.” He tells you with a sly smile as you giggle.

He leads you out of the airport and you go to your car. You drive back in silence, holding his hand while you drive. You’re just so happy to be with him again.
