We wake to Sara and Miss Greenworth shouting our names, I jump and Josh hits his head on something because it was still on my head. He swears loudly and I hear Sara and Miss Greenworths footsteps head in our direction. “Where are you guys” Sara shouts.
“Over here, in the cupboard!” I shout back.
A minute later the door swung open and a worried Sara and Miss Greenworth appeared.
“Oh my god, Emma did they find you” Miss Greenworth exclaims.
“Um… well no not exactly. I panicked when the lights went out and ran into a wall, Josh found me and we’ve been here since.” I explain flushing.
“Did you literally sit here all night?” Sara asks.
“Yep, we did. We woke up to your shouts. I swore because I was lying on Emma’s head and she suddenly jumped and I hit my head” Josh tells them calmly.
“Well with that explained, we had better get you” She says pointing at me “To the hospital ward.”
“Alright. See you later Josh, Bye Sara.” I say and follow Miss to the hospital.
“I have to ask, Miss. What happened yesterday?” I ask.
“Well the people that took Molly broke into look for something that they must never find.” She replies quietly.
“May I ask what they are looking for and did they find it?” I venture
“No and No” She says simply.
“Ok. Did the alarm only go off downstairs?” I wonder out loud.
“Yes it’s a warning bell basically, the lights were turned off by the intruders.” She answers
We arrive at the medical ward and the nurse says to Miss “Another?” and Miss nods swiftly and turns to me. “See you later Emma” then she strides off. The nurse leads me to curtained off section of the ward and sits me down. She tends to my wounds and lets me shower and then I am released.
I don’t really know what to do with myself. Do I go to class or do I go and do more training. I haven’t got any idea, so I go to find Miss Greenworth. I wander the corridors slowly wasting time not really wanting to go back to training or lessons. When I eventually arrive at her office, I knock quietly and Miss calls out “Come in” she calls.
“Emma” she says with a sigh. “What can I do for you?”
“Sorry to bother you, again, but I don’t really know where I’m supposed to be?” I ask quickly
“Oh yes, silly me, you wouldn’t would you. You need to head back down to training but you are excused from evening lessons, you have a ‘free period’.” She tells me.
“Ok thank you Miss, sorry to bother you” I say backing out of the room.
I make my way down to the training centre. I get in the lift and slide the secret panel and enter the code carefully 3245. If you get it wrong it sets off an alarm. The lift zooms down and stops abruptly at the bottom. I slide the panel and step out.
