Chapter 5: magic

That ☝🏻️ has nothing to do with the story, I just found this funny😂. Now on with the story.

Nashi's POV
We found the Vulcan and started attacking it. I ran up to it and 'Nashi kicked' it.

I kept using my physical strength to hurt it but it wasn't working.

"It's not working Nashi!" Storm yelled at me.

"Well no duh" I said sarcastically.
"Try using your magic" he replied back. I just rolled my eyes.

"Fire dragon, Roar!" I yelled and the Vulcan went flying.

They stopped fighting and looked at me shocked.

"We have no time to waste, let's go." I run to the Vulcan to keep attacking it.

"Fire dragon iron fist!" I slammed my fist into the Vulcan and it was completely unconscious.

"Wow, you guys are no help." They sweat-dropped.

"Why are you just standing there? Let's go!"

After the Vulcan was disposed of, we went to get our reward. We collected our 700 000 jewel and went back to the train.

"You know what? I think I'll be going," I say and walk the opposite direction o the train.

"Oh no you don't," Silvia said, grabbed the back of my shirt and she dragged me onto the train.

"We will be leaving in 5 minuets," the train people said.

"Silvia has some questions to ask. How did you learn fire dragon slaying magic?" Silvia questioned.

"I'm a 4th generation dragon slayer (is that a thing?). Meaning one of my biological parents had the same ma-" I was cut off by the train moving.

"Pffft," Storm laughed. "That's weak!"

"Y-you try being a-a dragon slayer..." I responded.

He continued to laugh until I passed out.

Normal POV
As the train kept moving the two Fairy Tail mages, that were still conscious, continues to speak.

"Wait, since when was there another fire dragon slayer?" Storm asked realizing that Nashi had fire dragon slayer magic and only ever herd of one fire dragon slayer.

"You never really know," Silvia replies. "Silvia has never herd of another one but there are some mages who like to keep a low profile. Doesn't want any attention.

"But the real question is, how did she learn how to use it? Silvia is pretty sure that Nashi didn't say anything about her learning it and her dad left her."

"I'm not sure. But I do know is we have a lot of questions we need to ask her," Storm replied to Silvia.

~time skip~

Nashi's POV
We finally got to the guild again and I was starving.

I walk inside and go to the bar. "Hey Mira, can I have some food? I want the spiciest thing you have," I asked, wanting something really spicy.

"Coming right up," she replies then walks into the kitchen.

As I sat there waiting, Silvia and Storm walked up to me.

"We have some questions to ask," Storm started.

I nodded, "okay, like what?" I asked.

"Who taught you fire dragon slayer magic?" Silvia questioned. 

"I-uh. Some guy, I think his name was John, taught me how to use fire to my own will. Also some guy named Loke told me the spells. I had lots of practise on my own."

A few people over herd this and surrounded me.

"Loke? What did he look like?" Levy questioned.

"Uh, he had glasses, orange hair and always wore a suit."

"So Lu-Chan always used her spirits. I knew she wouldn't leave them alone." Levy said.

"Any other spirits, er, people. Aquarius, Cancer, Virgo?" Cana asked.

"Virgo! She was our maid! She had pink hair and always had chains around her wrists. Mom said that it was her choice. Sometimes I would look for them but I couldn't find them anywhere. Mom always said they went out."

"Um, Nashi? Those were her Celestial spirits. I guess they were passing as humans." Mira replied as she came back with my food. I guess she overheard.

As I gobbled down the food everybody was looking at me surprised.

"Whath ish it?" (What is it) I asked with a mouthful of food.

"How are you eating that? Is that even healthy for a child to eat such spicy food," Erza asked.

"Yo Natsu," Gray called dad. "Looks like you have competition!"

"What? No one can eat as much spicy food as me." He replies.

"Care to have a challenge?" I ask, secretly hoping he would say yes.

"Your on! I'm all fired up!"

~time skip~

"We have a tie," Mira announced.

"I've got an idea," dad murmured but only the dragon slayers heard.

"You can't really be that much of an idiot Natsu," Gajeel said.

I don't understand....

He stuck out his hand, put it on fire and said "eat this."

"Natsu don't!" A pretty girl with white short hair that looks like Mira, said.

So that's Lisanna.

"Aw, c'mon Lis. It's not like she's actually gonna do it."

"You'd be surprised," Storm mumbled under his breath.

I started eating the fire.

"What the hell!"Dad exclaimed.

"That was the best tasting fire I ever had! Thanks Natsu!" I thanked then walked off. "I'm gonna head home. Have a great night everybody!" I then waved them all goodbye.
