Emma POV.
Growing up in the castle, I was taught how to behave, to ride, to rule, and to defend. Regina, rarely was near me, she would pop in my lessons, and if I was sick she'd come and brush my hair as I slept. She had my tutors teach me the history between her and my mother. Which, I found odd, why teach her enemy's daughter what had happened in the past.
My days were the same, I'd wake up, eat breakfast with the Queen, go to the stables, eat lunch, go to my tutors, go to tea, do my lessons, go back to the castle, get dressed for dinner with the Queen, have dinner with the Queen, bathe, and dress for bed, sleep, and repeat.
Birthday's she'd request all day to spend with me, we would eat, go to the stables, she'd allow me to go to court with her, and we'd have dinner together in private. That was the schedule until my eighteenth year.
