'Mr. Park'

You sat at you desk literally blank. It was as if all the energy you had was nowhere to be found. All you were able to do was stare at the wall Infront of you while your head filled with thoughts about one thing. That date. No matter how hard you tried, you always found yourself unintentionally thinking about it again. All that you thought was purely negative. Your mind refused to search for positive possibilities.

Minutes passed and every minute you dreded all that was to come.

Yet despite all that you had a odd feeling in your gut as if something was dancing down there with happiness because of what was to come. But you chose not to believe it anyways because when was the last time your gut feeling was ever right?

You tried to take your mind of it by pulling out  your laptop and looking at guides on what to do in Sydney. You continued searching for guides on your laptop for a good couple of minutes when you saw the head of the secretary pop through the opening in the doorway.

"Mr. Park would meet with you (y/n)" she said quickly.

Mr. Park. That idiotic assistant director.

That name literally reminded you of a punching bag and made you sick to the stomach. He was a man who's face devices those that look at it because it looks all too welcoming. It's through time that you learn that he's not the man his face claims to show. You always considered leaving but then finding a job anywhere else was tough. This was your dream job that you had finally managed to achieve hence making leaving it even harder.

You got up and walked calmly to his office and knocked twice before entering. Upon opening the door you saw man who was calmly leaning against his table with both hands behind his back gripping the table for support. He looked up at you with his light and dusty green eyes yet not even making any move in any sort of way to greet you or even welcome you. He just stood there.

"You called Mr.Park?"you asked with a straight face with your arms crossed.

"Yes because Miss (y/n), i wanted to see the work you've put up so far for the Sydney Fashion week. You are well aware that it's in nearly a week yes?"he said not even daring to break eye contact.

"I've sent my designs in to be made Mr.Park" you replied calmly.

"Also I was wondering if you would be interested in having dinner with me" he muttered with absolutely no hesitation.

You felt your blood boil. You wanted to actually slap the literal man out of him.

"I'm sorry Mr.Park but I have plans already" you said quickly while turning your back towards him to face the door.

Indeed Mr.Park was a handsome man. He had eyes so great that looking at them once would put you in some hypnosis that would keep you staring. He was quite fit possessing perfectly toned biceps and maybe some abs. You never knew because you had never seen him topless but you guessed judging on his appearance.

You would have said yes if it wasn't for all that he had done in the past. He was the same man who had bullied and broke your sisters heart to the point that your shoulder became a place for her tears to fall for months. Even though it had never happened to you, you still felt the pain as your own. You clearly remember the times they would just get lost in each others eyes for ages, never let each others hands go even if it meant missing a train, cheating on exams together and even goofing around with each other. It all changed when he changed High Schools. It was as if he changed his attitude completely. He was no longer the guy who cared but a man who loved to break others. He even began seeing someone behind her back and still pretended to love her as his one and only. It all broke when he told her on their anniversary "I found someone better". You sister couldn't imagine why he would do that but then learned of all he did behind her. Despite that she didn't want to let go and ended up being sucked into a portal of self hatred, utter sadness and severe regret.

He was like a drug and she was the addict.

You were just turning the door knob to leave his office when you heard him clear his throat to speak again. Despite that you still faced your back towards him.

"You do realize all that your losing at this very moment right?" he said with absolute confidence.

"I know what I'm playing at mate. I don't need an idiot to warn me" you replied harshly and left, slamming the door behind you.

You walked back to your workspace with anger flowing though your veins when your eyes caught a sight of something that you didn't want to even look at. That was the calendar.

The date was now 20.6.18.

Two more days till my misery.

Maybe I was born to always be hurt and misfortunate. Maybe I was the unlucky girl in the movies.
