Y/N's POV

After the events with Dave and him apologizing everything was pretty chill, once in a while Chris would invite me and Jen over just to socialize and maybe drink here and there. I mean I ain't warm up to them like that but I'm slowly getting comfortable just not too comfortable.

Today was really hot so I decided not to open shop and give myself a real break from all the busy schedule I've had for the last couple of weeks and I definitely wanted to make the day worth it.

I grabbed my phone and decided to FaceTime Jen and see what plans she had today so I could incorporate myself into them

"What's up chica?" She answered on the first ring as if she was waiting for me to call her

"Nothing I'm just bored so what are you doing today?" I walked into my closet looking for something nice and accommodating for the weather

"Wellllll I ain't doing shit but we could link up and make plans girl" She moves off the bed on camera and goes into the bathroom

"Okay then let's get ready and then you could come meet me here hoe" still fishing in my closet for the right outfit

"Alright then I'll see you soon bitch" she stuck out her tongue and hung up and I shook my head and smiled

Once I finally found a cute outfit which was just a mustard yellow crop top that said honey in red letters on it and a red maxi shirt I was satisfied and took a quick shower and washed my hair. When I finished I walked to the mirror and did my makeup leaving it simple but skipped the long process of doing my hair since I decided to leave it curly and added a little mouse to keep it from being puffy. I just really wanted to be cool and not worry about sweating anything off or my hair frizzing up.

I walked into my room dropping my towel and grabbing my lotion to quickly moisturized myself, when I was finished I got dressed and paired my outfit with a pair of vans. I looked at myself in the mirror admiring what I saw was beautiful but what men thought was either gross or just unattractive till I heard a bing indicating that Jen was most likely here so I grabbed my phone to be but instead it was a notification from Instagram

I was kinda shocked and curious on why he followed me but I just ended up opening up the notification so I could follow him back and I ended up scrolling through his Instagram along with it until my phone binged again but this time it was a text message from Jen letting me know she was outside so I grabbed what I needed and headed out to her car.

"Hey bitch" I got in her car and strapped myself in as she drove off

"Why you looking extra scrumptious today hmm?" She looked back and forth at me and the road as she drove

"Girl I'm just dressed comfortable for this damn heat wave" I shrugged and fixed the air vent so the ac and blast on me directly

"Mhmmmm anyways do you want to go out for brunch? I got a connect for this great place not too far from here" She made the car come to a soft stop as we hit a red light
