"What happened ? It's been 4 hours yarr.. You went to pick up the parcel or you started making one !" Mihir complaint as soon I reached Ashu's office.

"I'll tell you everything but later" I excused

"Ahh.. Ashu, can I ask you something ?" I hesitantly asked

"Yeah sure.."

"Since how long you and anamika are friends ?" I asked in one go

She stared me for a minute then answered me.
"I guess around 10 years, why ?"

"Ohh that's fantastic... I.. Umn.. I mean Nice.. Then it means that you know each other very well right ?"

"Yeah.. Actually we were roommates for almost five years so with this you can guess very well..
But.. what happened ? You suddenly want to know details about her ha.. " she had a smile over her face while she dialed a number.

"Whatt... But How do you know !??" I asked surprised.

Meanwhile her call got connected And her cell was already connected to a speaker so we were able to listen to her convo..

"Hii babe.. "Ashu spoke

"Yeah love.. Received the parcel ?" The voice was of Anamika.. I can't forget her voice now, because it keeps ringing in my ears.

We boys have this weakness, the one we love, she might not be with us, but still our mind keeps ringing their voice in our ears no matter whoever say anything. It's like we are always listening to them only.

"What about our plan of lunch ? Aren't you coming here ?" Ashu spoke in an angry tone.

"Sorry babe, got an important work to wind up before evening and then have to attend a meeting tonight with someone important"

Listening about the meeting and mentioning of Someone Important made me to have an ear to ear smile which was an unconscious reflex. Mihir stared at me while raising his brows making me embarrassed. I just nodded my head from left to right while shrugging off my shoulders telling him 'it's nothing bro'...

"Ohoo.. Who is that someone important ha " Ashu was staring at me while speaking over her cell.

"I'll tell you later about this, whenever we will be meeting next, at that time you will get to know the details about that person, by the way thank you so much for sending that guy to receive the parcel.. You really helped me alot babes.. "

"You know what ! I feel He does likes you because after returning, he was inquiring about you.. "

Fuuuckkk... Did I heard it correct ! Did she really spitted it out to her.. She's such a big mouth...

My mouth remained open to hear what Ashu just said. Goddd.. Why these girls need to share all such details in such an awkward way. Can't they keep few things to themselves only !..

I passed on an angry look to Ashu which she ignored and kept listening to Anamika.

"Whatttt.. How do you know ? You know that guy personally ?" Anamika sounded surprised.

"Yeah, he is like a brother to my best friend, and he came here for some of his office work, but after returning from your college he had a changed attitude.. He was all gloomy types.. Does anything unusual happened there between you two?" she replied.

I jumped and snatched cell from Ashu and ended the call..

"What's wrong with you ? What the hell are you doing !? Give my cell back.. " Ashu complaint

"Are you mad or what.. !!? What the hell you Think you were doing over call.. ? Spoiling my relation before starting ..! Or maybe it's just that you don't want me to get close to her !? "

"Whattt.. I was just trying to help you out.."

"Thank you so much but no need now.. I'll manage on my own.. Cz I saw what your 'helping' term means in reality.." And I rushed out from her office in a hyper attitude.

"Broo.. Wait.. It wasn't right Ashu, you went too far that too this early. You should better think before doing something... Specially when it's about someone else..." Mihir told her and came out behind me.

At the evening..

"Hello.. Anamika... Hmm.. where are you ?" I asked over the call while entering the restaurant where she has reserved a table for our meeting.

"Looking handsome Mister In your royal blue suit" she complimented over call..
I looked all around and found her seated at a corner table. She was giggling while her eyes fixed on me. Our gaze met and I started walking towards her.

I went near her and was about to greet her when I was thunderstruck with her dark purple one-piece dress which was looking like a sparkle on a real emerald.

"I'm here for you only, so you can stare me after getting seated too.." She had a nice laughter afterwards. I felt a bit shy and embarrassed of which she undoubted took advantage.

I got seated and complimented for her attire and looks which she just loved..
Soon we ordered starters and our conversation started. Starting from the daytime event to exchanging details about each other. Everything went quite smooth. We even exchanged our contacts.. Soon we had our dinner and I asked her...
"Would you mind going for a small walk with me ?"

She nodded in an agreement and we went for a walk on the streets..

"Anamika, ahmm.. I want to confess something "

"You don't need permissions anymore, just go ahead directly..."

"Whatever happened today, I'm glad we met and... "

"And ??"

"And.. Ahh.. See the weather is so calm tonight.."

"Yes it is. But you were about to say something else na.."

My steps stopped. I turned towards her, after thinking for a moment, I looked in her eyes.. held her face in my palms, and softly confessed..
"Umm.. I think, I'm a victim of love at first sight.."

Her eyes got lowered and a smile beamed across her face.. She looked upwards at me, "I feel the same for you.. "

We had an eye lock for a few minutes After which she came in my embrace and I hugged her, tight enough that she could listen to my heartbeats clearly..
The scene of my dream finally came true.
