Y/N a young 16 year old girl Living in a peaceful village near a river. The river provided everything your village needed and often Y/N's village worshipped the water deity, Suijin for a good year , some for good fishing trips and others for good fertility and motherhood.
But for Y/N she treated everyone the same, she didn't understand why someone superior must be treated with great respect and must be feared, well Y/N certainly didn't hate the gods but certainly didn't she adore them.
Y/N was the musician, she played her shamisen, often telling adventures and stories through her music to the children and adults(cough*kubo and the two strings* cough),
and every day in the afternoon she would go near the river to play by herself, many thought she was playing to the nature or to the god Suijin and so no one would go near to the river in fear of disturbing the music that results getting punished by the gods.
Like everyday Y/n was walking down the long roads of her village with her shamisen on her back, wearing a black yukata with sakura design and a red obi and her long silky hair flowing behind her. Children ran up to her saying things like
"Y/N-san tell us about the Warrior" or "Y/N-san, play for us please"
and like always Y/N response with a smile and nodded. She sat down on a sideways and pulled her shamisen, tuned it and started playing with the story of a warrior. The children listened in awe and many adults gathered to listen to the graceful tale with mesmerizing music.
As the story came to an end many clapped and offering her money but she refused and many children asking her to play again tomorrow as always. Y/n walked towards to river and breathed the fresh air, she sat down in rock and played a song about water, coincidentally the water god, Suijin was passing by.
Suijin was tried obviously he traveled to many villages, hearing their wishes and giving them blessings, that's when he heard the beautiful tunes coming from the river. Like any normal person, he went to see, as he walked over to Y/N he stood behind and carefully listened to her music. Suddenly the song came to an abrupt end and she quickly turned around and kept a straight face. Suijin, on the other hand, was still listening to the song,
then he finally noticed the song came to end and the certain H/C girl staring at him
"Oh sorry, I was just passing by when I heard the beautiful music, so I had to see "
Suijin quickly said but was surprised instead of a girl yelling all sorts of things he heard a laughter
"Oh I was just messing with you, I'm Y/N what's yours?"
Y/n said, But she already knew who he was, he was Sunjin the water god, he resembled the picture in the shrines and the statues, his royal clothes, and his Bow.
Sujin not knowing if he should say his real name said: "My name is Haru".
The H/C girl chuckled at him
