Chapter 2

Serena POV

"What?" I heard a tired Rei say behind me. I looked to her to see her slowly sitting up with her hand on her head. She looked around and saw me and didn't look tired anymore. "Serena!" She called. "Rei!" I called back. "Are you alright?" She asked me. I nodded. "Who are you?" Natsu asked Rei. She knew that we were in a different world and she didn't trust these people. I could see it in her eyes. "Who are you!?" She yelled at Natsu and Lucy, standing up. Before they could answer, she transformed. Can she really be that untrusting? I didn't think that was possible. 

"Mars Fire Ignite!" She called. "Mars!" I yelled at her. It was too late. Even when she directed her attention to me, the fire was already heading towards Natsu. As it approached him, he just caught the flame and.........ate it? Since when do people eat fire. Mars was looking at me. From when I called her name. "They're not bad people." I told her, as I was approaching her. "More importantly, did that person just eat my attack?" She asked confused while pointing at Natsu. She untransformed. "I'm sorry, after the dark beam of light and vision I had before in a dream, I didn't feel like I could trust you, but, if Serena says you guys are good then I have no choice but to be nice." She apologized. I think.

"It's fine! The fire was the best fire I've ever tasted!" Said Natsu. Lucy facepalmed. "If you haven't already noticed, Natsu can eat fire. I'm Lucy by the way." Lucy greeted herself to Rei. "I'm Rei. Nice to meet you." Rei introduced herself back. I looked behind me to see the other girls and Darien starting to wake up. They looked around. "IS THAT A FLYING BLUE CAT!?!?!?!?" They all yelled when they saw Happy. "Yep. That isn't the craziest thing either." I said to them. We helped my friends to stand. I was helping Mina up, Natsu was helping Darien, Lucy was helping Ami, and Rei was helping Lita. Artemis was also awake since he was also here.

"So, where do you guys come from?" Lucy asked. "Not here." Rei answered. "Alright then..." Lucy said. "Let's go talk to Master." Lucy said. "Master?" I asked. "The master of our guild. By the way, are you guys wizards?" Lucy asked. Wizards? "No. Are there wizards here?" I asked. She seemed surprised. "You definitely can use magic." Natsu said. "Yeah but we're not wizards." Rei said. "We can talk about this in the guild." Lucy said and they lead us inside a building we were near that had a big sign with a symbol that looked like the one on Lucy's hand.

It looked like a bar with all of the people drinking. Wait! I think it might be! I'm kinda young to be drinking. "Master!" Lucy called. "Yes Lucy?" Said a short old man. "We found these people outside. They were unconscious before. They arrived in a beam of black light. They're not from this world." Lucy explained to the old person. "Are they wizards?" He asked. "No. We're not wizards but we can use magic." Rei answered. "You can use magic but you're not a wizard?" He asked. I nodded.

"They can stay here while they're in this world." The old man said. "Thank you...Um?" I don't know how I'm supposed to address him. "Master Macarov. You can call me Master, sir or Macarov." He said. "Alright then. Thank you sir." I thanked him. "Hey Natsu, who are these people?" I heard a female ask. I looked behind me to see a girl wearing armour and a blue skirt. She had scarlet red hair. "Hello, I'm Ami." Ami greeted. "I'm Lita." "I'm Mina." "I'm Rei." "I'm Darien." Everyone introduced themselves. "I'm Erza Scarlet. Nice to meet you." The girl said.

 She looked at me. "And who are you?" She asked me. "My name is Serena. This is Luna and that's Artemis." I also introduced the cats. "Hey." I heard a male voice say and I saw another person. This person wasn't wearing any clothes. Gross. I looked away from him. "Grey, your clothes." Erza said to the male. "What abou- When did that happen?" Is he really confused? How did he not notice he wasn't wearing clothes?

 "Seriously Grey?" Said Natsu. "You want to go fire boy?" Grey challenged. He had clothes on now so I was watching as him and Natsu started fighting. "Is this normal?" Mina asked Erza. "Very normal." She said then walked over to the boys and punched them in the head. "Enough already!" She said. "Yes Erza." Both boys said in defeat. I laughed a bit and so did the other scouts. Even Lucy joined us with laughing. "Anyway, What were you guys doing before coming here?" Lucy asked us. "We were walking to my house. Me and the girls were going to have a sleepover and Darien was walking us to my house since it was late at night." I explained. 

 "Where were you guys before you started walking to your house?" Lucy asked me. This time Rei answered. "We were just hanging out." She didn't want to bring up the part about Rini since that might make them think something is wrong with us and our world. I wonder how Rini is doing. Probably fine since she's technically with me in the future. "Okay." Lucy said. "Hey Lucy! Let's bring them on a job!" Said Natsu holding a sheet of paper. "They're not wizards Natsu! We can't just bring them on a job!" Said Lucy with a loud voice. "But they can use magic. Well, at least fire girl over there can." He said pointing to Rei. I snorted trying to hold back a laugh. I went over to Rei. "Hey fire girl." I went to bug her. She got mad. "SHUT UP SERENA!" She yelled. Welp, I'd better go now. Lucy sighed. "Do you guys want to go on a job request?" She asked defeated.

"What will we have to do?" Ami asked. Lucy looked over to Natsu since she didn't know the answer either. "We have to go beat up a few volcans." He said. "Natsu! You know that's dangerous even FOR a wizard!" Yelled Lucy. "But it says here that you get 400 million jewels and two silver celestial keys." Natsu tried bribing Lucy. "Does it say which ones?" She fell for the bait. "Nope!" Said Natsu. "We'll go on the job." I said. "Serena!" The scouts yelled at me. "What? It sounds like fun. Besides, isn't this helping people?" I asked Lucy. "That's what jobs are for." She said and took a look at the flyer. "Wait! It says that someone was taken by the vulcans! That's why they're paying so much!" She said.

"That's horrible!" Said Lita. "I'm in!" She said. "So that makes four." I said. "What about me?" Happy silently mumbled in the background. "*sigh* Since Serena is going I don't think I have a choice." Said Rei stubbornly. "It can give me a chance to study this places a bit more." Says Ami. We all knew she was gonna say something like that eventually. "I'm in! Whatever Vulcans are, they can't just go around kidnapping people!" Said Mina. I looked to Darien. "I guess I have to go too." He said with a sigh. "Well, we're all in!" I said. "Alright! Let's go!" Natsu shouted. We headed out.
