We met in the dark,
Grey,misty,blue and cold,
Two contorted pasts,
Collision of two damaged souls.
At first,
We shone bright like the Sun,
Illuminating worlds unknown,
And within bleeding blue hearts,
We found a friend,we found our home.
Then,we shone like the moon,
Beware;for it was never full,
Bit by bit,it faded away,
A violent push,and never a pull.
A full moon became a sore sight,
Bit by bit,it faded soon,
Leaving nothing to be called as bright,
A dilemma between a curse and a boon.
Then,
As days passed by,
We shone like the candlelight,
A weak flickering spark.
Burning bright,only when close,
Attracting heavy moths,not pretty butterflies,
A flicker of withered hearts,a flicker of withered lies.
Then,
We shone like the dim bulbs,
Too hard to see how to be one.
Heartbeats slowly turning into a dying pulse,
Dying love,decreasing beats,from a lot,to one.
For once,
Your love made me feel brave,a part of the guild of the heroes.
But happy ever after?
Is a myth.
We shone together as one,
Just to be divided into zeroes.
