Cuphead x Dancer! Reader

{Reader's P.o.V}

You sighed heavily, feeling your heart thump against your clothed chest. You put your hand over your racing heart, trying to calm the organ so you could concentrate on your dancing rehearsal. As you continued to try and calm yourself, something caught your eye.

"What's that?" You questioned, walking over to the object that had interested you.

You giggled as you picked up a bundle of flowers, smelling the beauties. (Favorite Flower). You began to twirl around, clutching the flowers to your chest. The beautiful plant made your anxiety cower away into the deep, dark hole it came from in your mind.

"Wow, you seem happy. Maybe a little too happy since you're dancing with the flowers." A familiar voice chuckled, making you stop in your tracks and face the being.

Heat rose into your cheeks, making a heavy blush coat your features. The man laughed softly, walking over and grabbing your forearm lightly. A smile crept it's way onto your lips, making all your features glow in his crimson eyes.

"Cuppy!" You cheered, wrapping your arms around his neck. You pulled him closer, your faces inches apart.

You closed the space between you two, connecting your lips together in a passionate kiss. The cup headed male instantly kissed back, deepening the action. You hummed, tilting your head to the side and opening your mouth. Without hesitation, Cuphead darted his tongue into your carvern, exploring everything. Soon, both of you pulled away for oxygen.

"Well, that's one hell 'hello'." Cuphead breathed, smirking his signature smirk.

You nodded, giggling,"Why of course. I'll do anything for my one and only."

"Anything." He questioned, wiggling his eyebrows. You gasped, smacking his arm playfully.

"Miss (L/N)! Your next!" The announcer person shouted.

"Ok!" You shouted back. Your heart instantly started to beat a million miles an hour.

Cuphead seemed to notice because he instantly drew you into a sweet kiss. You kissed back, but pulled away quickly. Cuphead smiled, grabbing your hand and squeezed it lightly.

He whispered in your ear, "You're gonna do great, don't second guess yourself, hun. Now, go out there and show them who's boss."

You giggled, letting go of his hand and running onto the stage. You took your place, nodding to the curtain maintainers. The curtains drew back, giving people full view of your small figure. The music began to play as you began to dance your heart out.

~Short time-skip~

As the music came to an end, you stopped dancing, posing in a sitting/kneeling position. Everyone stood, clapping and wolf whistling at your performance. You looked up, a bright and graceful smile gracing your features. You walked backstage, smiling so happily. As soon as your lovely Cuphead, you ran to him, not caring the people that were shouting at you not to run. You jumped and embraced him in a sufficating hug. He didn't have to think, he just wrapped his arms around your waist.

"You did amazing. I bet you're gonna win!" Cuphead whispered into your ear, making you giggle.

Everyone was called to the stage, saying the judges had made their decision. Your heart was pounding rapidly, making your palms sweat a little. You stood there on the stage, the last person in the long line on the huge stage. You could feel people staring and whispering about you. You were there, smiling softly, trying to hide the fact that you were very nervous.

"And the winner is...." One of the judges trailed off, only making your heart increase in speed.

"(Y/N) (L/N)!" The judge shouted, making the spot light land on you. Your eyes widened, tears brimming your (E/C) orbs.

You walked out to the front of the stage, putting a hand over your mouth. The judges gave you a trophy and 2.5 million dollars in cash, making your jaw drop. Everyone was cheering, clapping, and whistling. Some were even shouting your name.

"Everyone may go backstage now." The female judge announced. Everyone went backstage, including you, and went to their families. Some were crying, some where cursing, and others were glaring at you. You just walked over to Cuphead, wrapping your arms around him and smiled brightly.

"I won! I won, Cuppy!" You squeaked, jumping up and down, filled with joy.

" I told ya." He chuckled, looking into your (E/C) orbs. You smiled and placed a kiss on his soft lips.
