0.1 ~ ELECTRICITY IN THEIR HANDS AND MOONS IN HER EYES
Aurora smacked on her second piece of gum, the popping and chewing sounds radiating from her mouth and into her classmates' ears.
It was 4th period now and Lainie was sitting next to her, the boys with the crazy hair not in their class, but in most of her classes, they're sitting around her.
Aurora day dreamt about going to parties, getting into trouble, all of that jazz until she heard her teacher call on her.
"¿Qué tu color favorito, Aurora?"
She swore she heard her heart skip a beat as the brown eyed girl stopped chewing her gum and looked up at Mr. Phoenix, his eyebrows arching for an answer.
"U-uh, present!" Aurora's voice squeaked, soon realizing the question, wincing at herself. She wanted to melt into the creaky, wooden chair so badly. Lainie could tell as she felt embarrassment for her.
Mr. Phoenix rolls his eyes as a couple of students giggle, the students looking directly at Aurora and laughing. Aurora's cheeks turn red as she slowly sinks in her seat, hoping to fall into the floor and away from the embarrassment.
"We've already done attendance, Ms. Wilson, now, ¿qué tu color favorito?" The teacher not breaking eye contact as he spoke in a disapproving manner, his narrow eyes showing through his rounded glasses.
The bell rings suddenly, Aurora still isn't giving an answer- and well not moving. Just sitting in her own puddle of humiliation.
'It's the first day of school and you already messed up! Now this is going to be your reputation you dumbo!' Aurora's thoughts screaming in her head, a dark cloud invades the girl's mind as her head hung low.
Quickly, she stands up and gathers her things in her bag and rushes out of the door, ignoring Mr. Phoenix's protests of staying after class for just a minute.

Tray in hand, Aurora walks to where everyone is sitting, the front of the school. To her it's unusual because well, students normally sit in cafeterias or the dining areas. But apparently not in this school.
Pretending to know where she is going, Aurora continues walking, searching for an empty space somewhere, the task being difficult with the sudden amount of paper balls hitting her all at once.
"Hey, hey!" Aurora yelps as they hit all over her body, the crumpled pieces of paper sticking in her hair. She walks faster and gets out of the weird paper ball war, dusting herself off with one hand, the other holding the tray of her food and even more paper balls.
She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, flicking a paper ball off of her tray and starts walking again, her heels not making the satisfying sound of clicks on the floor, but instead making sounds of shuffled grass.
