Why? (The Haunting Fanfic)

Prologue

*Misumi's POV*

I yawned quietly as I woke up from my nap, I rolled over onto my side but fell out of bed instead which made me cry out in shock. I whined lightly but went quiet as I got up from the ground my pink hair frizzy and everywhere. I grabbed my brush which was on the table beside me and started brushing my hair, I whimpered quietly when I pulled out the rats since they were painful. Once I finished brushing my hair, I suddenly smelled smoke which made my eyes widen, I placed my shoes on, staying in my pajamas which was a penguin onesie, I packed my stuff up which was most important to me and ran out of my bedroom, my eyes widen in fear when I noticed a man with glowing white eyes was staring down right at me as the flames creeped closer to me, I looked around for my parents hoping they were alive, I couldn't tell where this fire started by the white eyed man, but I knew I couldn't save them so I quickly left the burning house, tears going down my face. "S-So, that myth is true?" I whimpered as I now stood in front of the burning house, "Herobrine is really real, but...I was told it was just a fairy tail, a myth." I murmured quietly. I felt something hit the top of my head so I glanced up noticing it started to rain. I frowned and started walking down the gravel road, "I need to find out why he did this, their must've been a reason right?" I whispered. But I shook my head at what I thought, "Of course he wouldn't have a reason, but it's not a bad idea to find out why he did it." I told myself. As the rain poured down which made me soak to the bone. I started shivering because of how cold I was becoming. But I have to keep moving even if I'm gonna get sick.
My eye sight started to get blurry but I ignored it knowing I was gonna faint something, because who wouldn't? I'm soaked to the bone, I probably caught a fever, and probably caught a cold. I shook my head not noticing that I was passing by an old house, that held two boys. But apparently they noticed me, and they both came outside, one of them caught me when I tripped, since the gravel was now like mud and it was slippery. I noticed the two, and stared at them, my eyes drooping. The boy that caught me placed a hand up against my forehead and told the other boy something, all I caught was that I had a fever and they had to bring me inside to cool it down. I closed my eyes finally letting myself fall asleep, since the sickness was already getting to me.

I groaned quietly as I woke up and noticed I was in a bed, I sat up rubbing my eyes. I looked at what I was wearing, the only thing that was off was my penguin onesie which showed my white tink top and baby blue shorts underneath. I placed my nose into my elbow and sneezed into it, I brought my arm down and shivered, since I was freezing to death. I got out of the bed and looked around the room, it wasn't that big but their was another bedroom next to it, I looked down at my feet noticing I was bare foot, so I'm guessing my shoes are also soaked, and if I do wear them it'll probably feel weird. I shrugged my shoulders and left the bedroom noticing the two boys that helped me, they turned and looked at me. "Are you alright?" One of the boys asked, I nodded shyly. "T-Thanks for helping me," I said softly making the two smile, "I'm Drake and that's Armen, what's your name?" Drake asks, "I'm Misumi." I answered.

And with that, all three of us are going to follow the torture that Herobrine had set upon us. No matter how hard it's gonna be, we'll always be together.
