Chapter 2: New friends

September 1st

Jay's p.o.v
after the second grade's morning period - 12:30

It's a hot day.
Still summer to be specific and that's our first day of school. Actually for me I don't mind having school, but I think Cole doesn't agree with me:

"ahh, our first day of school, and to make things worse, vacation is over!" Cole said rolling his eyes and looking at me

"why Cole? sometimes school is great!"

" Are you crazy? school sucks!" He said while we were walking while the signal sounded and we walked to our class when someone appeard

"what's up man"? Justin, one of Cole's friend from the soccer team said
"Hey Justin! Are you going to have lunch here? If so , you can go with us" Cole answered

This guy is one year older than us, he is in the third grade of highschooI. I know I'm not the most sociable person, but to be honest , I don't like him at all , he is strange for me and I know that he sometimes talks trash behind my back

"Thanks , but I'm going with the guys". 
He pointed at the guys.

"actually I need to talk to you about something really important, do you have time now?"

"Just say it" Cole said smiling

"But, you know, it's something really important so, you have to be alone" Justin said looking at me smirking

"Cole, I'm going ahead" I said and walked away and I listened Justin's laugh

Cole suddenly said to Justin that their conversation needs to be in another time because he was going lunch, so he started to follow me.

I was kinda far from Cole because the situation made me a bit angry, I was thinking about it oblivious to my sorroundings then I bumped into some boy

"Dude, are you blind?" this boy has a really spiky hair, seems that he doesn't like to brush it.

"so-sorry I was distracted" I said while
trying to catch his book that fell to the ground

" I noticed" he said kinda angry taking the books

Suddenly Cole appeared to meet me

"Jay, why were you running so fast? I couldn't even reach you"

I said sorry to Cole, but of course I didn't say that I left because of Justin

With all this happening the boy who I bumped was looking at us kinda lost
Cole and I stopped talking and looked at the boy

"who is this boy?" Cole asked

"I'm Kai and I'm new here I don't know anything about this school, can you guys help me?" Kai said trying to be nice

I was able to help him so I offered my help
"you, the distraction one? are you sure?" he teased me

"believe me, he is the most intelligent person I know" Cole immediately said laughing

Kai laughed and accepted my help so I explained him our schedule and homeworks that we had for the first day.

b.b."you've got to be kidding me! Do we really have homeworks in the first day? Kai complained 

"I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU" Cole said putting his hand his hair

" I know it's too much but there's no way to scape" I said laughing
Actually I like doing homework's especially the mathematics ones.

"we are going lunch, do you want to come with us?" Cole asked
Kai accepted happily and we three walked together to lunch

Lloyd's pov - before school starts
I cant believe my dad prefer me to stay in this school instead of putting me in another one. I know my uncle is the most popular and adorable teatcher here but it doesn't mean that I need to stay here.

I'm in the first grade of high school now, all of the second and third grande will make pranks and judge me only because one of the teacher is my uncle.

"have a good day ,son!" my mom said waving at me while I was entering my uncle's car

"Thanks mom" I was nervous but trying to not show it

My mom is a really good person she is always by my side, what is actually different from my dad. I know he is my dad but sometimes I wish he weren't, because he's the opposite of my mom and I need to admit that I'm afraid of him all the time.

I arrived at school and then I meet my friends
" hi Lloyd" one of them said

"hello guys"
I dont have much friends at school because my dad said that I need to study all the time and I don't have time for friends, he said that i'm a loser and I can't stop studying, if so I will flunk.

I don't disagree with him I know I'm a loser but sometimes it's hard to accept this sometimes I just wanna be alone and think about these things.

" Go Zane you can do it!"
I got distanced from my group to drink water and I heard this

" Go zane Go!"  (lol)

I ran trying to follow the sounds of the people and I found a really crowded place like a circle

"Yaaaay Zane is the best!" all the people said

who is zane? I thought
then, a pretty girl appeard behind me

" that's so dumb!"
"what?"
"this boy Zane , I don't like him"
"but why?" I asked
" it's only because people think he is a genius...that's so idiot how people idolatres him" the girl said rolling her eyes

I was totally lost
"he is from the second grade and he is really smart! And actually new here" she added

*bell rings*

"I need to go now, it's late... bye" I said smiling

"just lemme ask something, what's your name by the way?"
"Lloyd"
"I'm Pharaoh" she smiled
"bye Lloyd!"
she walked away

Skylor's pov

I am now, locked in my bedroom and lying on my bed, thinking:

Everybody says that I'm the queen of the school, just because a lot of boys wants to date me and my dad is a big rich politican

They think that my life is perfect and my dad is the best person for me, but one thing that they don't know is that the last thing I want to do is to see my dad again.

He seems to be the best person but he isn't, He is always rude with me and last year I discovered that he diverted public money to buy our current home.

at school
"Skye , can we throw another party in your house ? it's so big!" my friend asked me

"I will ask my dad but he will probably say yes" I smiled

My dad doesn't need to now about the party, he is traveling! If so, he'd say no anyway and I don't want to talk to him about anything.

And sorry for the late update, I was studying a lot for my tests ( ITS HAS 90 QUESTIONS) and with lots of things to do. But it has already ended and now I'm free to do more things!
